“The perfect resort with the best ever price!!”

When i booked the hotel i thought that it would be good enough and the prce was tempting!!! When we arrived there, (2 couples) we were suprised! The resort was perfect! The place, the view , the rooms, every single detail has been designed so carefully that you cannot imagine!The pool area is small but amazing!!!!Comfortable beds, drinks and private space if you want!! The location is very good as it is between lamai and Chaweng (5 minutes away from both areas)The staff is very kind and willing to help you !! They are vey generous and they do not try to make money from you!! I definitely recommend this hotel for relaxation!! We were all extremely satisfied!!!

“Absolute Bliss - Incredible”

The Kala Samui is absolutely beautiful. The staff, accomodation, food everything about this place was perfect. We were B&B - breakfast is lovely and no time restriction on breakfast time! Definitely go into town for dinner to dine out for around £2 a head! The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. Which ever direction you look out from, the view is just amazing from this hotel. The rooms are very clean and the decor to the whole hotel is 'Thaliand Boutique'. I have travelled to many different countries The Kala Samui is definitely the most incredible holiday and hotel I have stayed in - great for a romantic getaway or a relaxing stay with friends. Calm and peaceful - you won't want to come home.

“A Perfect Holiday”

My wife, 7-month-old little boy, and I stayed at the Kala for seven days from Dec. 25-Jan 1. For two days we stayed in a Deluxe Room and then moved to a Pool Villa for the remaining five days. We could not have been more satisfied. The architecture and rooms were delightful. The mix of Thai style and nature made for stunning views. From the service to the food to the view, all was great. We'd happily recommend this hotel again.

“Idyllic setting on Koh Samui”

It was everything we wanted - idyllic coastal setting, peaceful, relaxing with attentive, friendly staff. Hotel was ideally located 10 mins drive from busy shopping areas of Chaweng and Lamai. The hotel provided free transport once each day to these beaches, but would also transport you at other times for the cost of a taxi which was very reasonable. Wi-fi consistently worked in our room.

“Relaxing and beautiful.”

Wonderful time at the Kala. The views of the ocean were spectacular, the food was excellent and the room was very contemporary and comfortable. I would have liked to have a comfortable chair in the room for reading. The hotel was addressing concerns about all the slippery stairs while I was there. Since it was raining off and on, I didn't use the ocean facilities. A great place to stay if being right on the beach is not a concern.

“Best view ive ever had, would definately recommend this Resort!”

Beautiful resort and great views. All staff were very friendly and most spoke some english.

“Almost Superb”

Excellent front of house, fantastic room and service overall ruined a little by indifferent food at dinner and rather useless bar service. The BBQ was described as an experience not to be missed - actually it should have been missed, and having to ask for a Gran Soda (listed in the menu and a very simple concoction) 6 times was disappointing. Asking for the manager to discuss why paying service for this was inappropriate and being told he was in Italy naturally did not impress me. However - I would strongly recommend this hotel as all other aspects were excellent, the location is peaceful and quiet, the views and solitude magnificent. Just be a little more patient than I was when it comes to food and drink. This hotel is appropriate for couples or those wanting a retreat but unwilling to travel to a remote location to get it. Not safe for young children as there are low balconies and long falls for the unwary. Excellent for spending time with your favorite person. Extending the free wifi to the rooms and working on the service levels of some of the staff would take this to the 5 range overall.

“Honeymoon from Hell”

What can i say, well how about no electricity, no running water, no toilet, leaking roof...not my idea of an ideal honeymoon, especially when staying in one of Koh Samui's top accomodations. Not a happy camper after forking out big bucks for such an important time in our lives...and that exactly what we were doing...CAMPING !!! We moved out of the Kala and with no refund available we cut our losses and moved onto a new and much improved place in Samui just down the road, and everywhere had power. The Kala needs to pull up there socks and purchase a generator for emergency situations. All we were give was one candel about as big as your index finger to light our whole villa. The best thing about the Kala was seeing it dissapear into the disatnce as we drove away. The rest of our Honeymoon was excellent dispite the weather, but when it comes down to it you do need some essential things like power and water and if you cannot provide them then a refund should be no questions asked.
