Staff speak limited English, but they will help you the best they can. Room is a typical Japanese business hotel, small room, but bed was very comfortable. very close to the train and subway station of Sannomiya and of a nice shopping center.

Close to transit, restaurants and shopping.

The room was too small for two people. There was no place for your suit cases in the room. The hotel would not give you a seond room key when there are two people sharing a room. When housekeeping cleanings the room, she would leave all the room doors open to all the rooms on that floor being cleaned. Anyone at that time can enter your room. (no security)

Cheap and convenient accomodation in Kobe, Japan

Posted Jan 8, 2012
Location: Quite convenient - only a couple of blocks from Sannomiya Station east exits and the Airport Limousine bus stop.
Room and bathroom cubicle were quite small but OK for the price and the large HD flat screen TV was nice. An interesting point of note is that APA Group CEO is Toshio Motoya, who is known for his right wing political views and has written a number of books promoting Japanese nationalist philosophies. One of his books (in Japanese) was on display in the room, and available for sale at reception. (As were packets curry mix marketed by his wife Fumiko, the President of the hotel chain). The piped koto music in the reception/cafe area was nice.

Small but nice

Posted Oct 24, 2011
The hotel was nice and in good condition. THe rooms were tiny, even for Japanese standards, and we could barely get our two suitcases to fit into the room with us. The room was quiet. The hotel is quite a walk from the shinkanseng station and some of the other attractions we wanted to see in Kobe (about 1.5-2 miles walk). Otherwise it was a good hotel and the room was clean.
