Two nights in Koblenz. The hotel was great and only 15 minutes from either Old Town or HBF. Great traditional restaurants in the old town. Staff were fantastic and the hotel very tidy.

Good hotel, easy to walk the old town, to a lot of attractions and dinner. Really like the daily free drinks in the mini fridge. Hotel is quiet, and the panoramic views from the privilege rooms are great. Breakfast was good, but repeats every day, little variety and changes would make it better, pretty expensive if you have to pay for it. We will come again.

Outstanding hotel, great staff and very good food in the restaurant. Great view of the river and very convenient to shopping, dining and outdoor activities such as cable car ride, River cruise and sightseeing. I highly recommend selecting this hotel, very quiet as well.

The original reservation was for a double bed with double rooms which pictures indicated was a suite. It turned out to be a single room with a double bed.

Was advertised as air conditioned rooms. We has 4 rooms before we gave up. Rooms stuck and we’re super hot. No discount was offered and staff didn’t seemed concerned that there was no air conditioning and the rooms smelled. Not impressed would not recommend staying here

We got a room on the 9th floor, the "privileged " room with a river view right across from the famous fort. The big pleasany surprise was the permanent note on the mini refrigerator that ALL the drinks in the "mini bar" was free. ❤

Fridge in room not working had to until the day after to be replaced. We were given a free drink voucher for one drink each. Which only covered specific drinks
There was 1 small bottle of beer in the fridge, 2 cokes and bottle water.
I beer between 2 a bit stingy.
Really think the standards of the Koblenz mercure have declined

The room was clean and comfortable with a nice view in the river, placed in a very good position near the river, so you can go on foot to the most beautiful area of Koblenz. Unfortunately the heating system was not working even when the outside temperature was 5 to 12 degrees. We asked at the reception to do something but it seems that the thermostat was set at a certain point where only cold air came out.

Xmas market trip
We think this is one of the nicest places to stay... we like the "south" view & its quieter, even on the 9th floor. Since we have stayed a couple times now, some rooms still need updated to the details, like in the bath. I question (in my view) about the cleanliness sometimes. The breakfast is better with cooked to order eggs. But the location is nice! Mecure Hotels are nice!

Picked this hotel because of the river view rooms, which is also a great location. The ladies at the front desk were so helpful. (Sorry i dont recall names). The breakfast was great. The housekeeping manager was great, hopefully we'll return to take him up on his offer to us! German beds tend to be harder than I like though. But i do travel with my own pillow.

Not a bad hotel, located on the outskirts of the city center but about a 5 min walk to the riverfront. Ensure to not check in too early like we did b/c they will not let you. Luckily we just walked around town to kill some time.
They made me overpay for parking 4 nights in a row and once the mistake was uncovered refused to get it fixed. Thank you, Miss Jäger. Unfortunately there aren’t many options in Koblenz so you might still have to choose to stay here but be aware you might pay a bit more than you’d expect. Hence from me, 2 stars
We stayed three nights at Mercure Hotel Koblenz in July 2020. The hotel staff was supportive of guests. We were upgraded to a room with a view of the Rhine River. The bed was comfortable and the free minibar appreciated. The location of the hotel to the center of Koblenz is convenient and we recommend this hotel.
We had a room on the 10th floor with a nice view of the river. The hotel had easy access to the river & walking around the area. The room was very clean & comfortable. The staff accommodated is for an early check in which was very much appreciated!
The location was good for us. Close to downtown. Staff was unhelpful. Laundry service only M-Thursday. Not noted on listing. The condition was not good. View was nice. Must cater to tours. Food was set up like a buffet and a bit expensive for Germany. We had stayed in Trier previously and the difference was night and day
Stop over, found the reception staff at check in dismissive. Not very welcoming. Also on leaving the next morning, I enquired about information about the Mercure hotel in Dortmund as I thought they could help arrange accommodation, staff simply directed me to look online and call them direct. Not great service
Great location for Rhine walk into town, or front of building through the underpass,then past the kids skate park,then 10 mins walk to main area for bars,restaurants and cafes..
