Nice hotel close to the airport.Posted Sep 5, 2014
Pros: Location....location.....location. This is the best hotel I have stayed at on Kodiak.
This hotel is great for an early morning flight. Restaurant and hotel is nice. The bartender is awesome and friendly.

Surprisingly good hotel very close to airportPosted Jul 5, 2014
Pros: The friendliness of the staff and it's location close to the airport. It also has a guest laundry which is great.
Cons: If a shuttle service could be provided to downtown it would be a great improvement.
Location: The hotel is situated right across the road from the airport but that is the only plus to the location if you don't have your own transport.
We were not sure what to expect from this hotel but booked it for it's location close to the airport. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was hit and miss. One meal was great but the second not so good. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Would not recommend staying here if you want to be near downtown Kodiak unless you have transport. A taxi downtown from the hotel costs about $US30.

Wouldn't stay there again.Posted Oct 27, 2012
Pros: Close to the airport.
Cons: Everything else.
The hotel corridors were dirty. The carpet in the rooms was dirty. The food in the lounge was horrible. The boiler broke during the night so there was no heat or hot water for showers in the morning - at least the manager discounted $15 for that. The bathtub (not that is used it since there was no hot water) was weird - the drain was on the opposite of the tub from the faucet - obviously no quality control over the construction.

Good ChoicePosted Jul 13, 2012
This motel is adjacent to the airport, which was very convenient. They upgraded my room to a king size bed suite which was very roomy and nice. The breakfast was awsome. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I was looking for a trail I needed directions to, and because someone else was using the computer, the staff let me use their computer to find it.

Hotel was convenient and right next to the airport...about 5 miles from town. The rooms were clean and reasonable furnished with a microwave and refrigerator. Decent morning breakfast and bar. Common areas and carpet could use some work.

Great PlacePosted May 10, 2011
The hotel is close to the airport - within walking distance. Very quiet, pretty views all around. The restaurant is fantastic. Only bummer is the town is about 4 miles away (the hotel and airport are pretty out of the way). The people there at the hotel are friendly and helpful. I was happy with my stay.
