Expected more for this price in ThailandPosted Sep 11, 2013
The hotel is in a good position overlooking the beach, it has some fantastic views, two okay sized pools and is clean. However for the amount you are paying I would expect much more in Thailand. The staff were polite but not overly helpful, our first problem was that our safe door was jammed stuck, a member of staff came to help us but didn't really resolve the problem it was very tough to open. Then the key to our door only worked when it wanted to, so when we wanted to get into our room we kept having to go to reception, the people in the room obviously had the same problem as they woke us up multiple times through the early hours of the morning trying to get their key to work in the door. Our final problem was that the hotel advertised free wifi with a computer available, we tried to use the said computer however the internet was not working and was advised to come back in 30 minutes, which we did and it still wasn't working, we were advised to go and pay for the internet ourselves at the internet cafe opposite. Overall these points really put a downer on our stay.

Nice hotel with an idyllic pool & sea views.Posted Sep 9, 2013
An excellent hotel 5-10 minute walk from Sunrise beach where you can do water sports, go on tours, and party if you like. However, the hotel is very tranquil and relaxing. It's impossible to get tired lounging around the seaside pool with a fresh coconut or a cocktail. The staff was excellent, and very helpful throughout our stay. I would definitely go stay here if I went back to Koh Phangan!

Super service and surroundingsPosted Jul 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
Facilities and location near to, but not on Haad Rin beach was excellent, and choice of pools in the shade and beachside very good. All staff were friendly, polite, efficient and welcoming. A very pleasant and relaxing stay.

Room was ok but breakfast was badPosted Jun 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
Good sized room but bathroom is a bit basic. Shower right beside toilet but with no curtain so toilet gets wet. Room was clean and complimentary water given. Lots of large mosquitoes in communal areas. Walk to haad rin centre is via the beach at the back but it can be very dark at night along the path. Breakfast is very bad with pad Thai, scrambled eggs, sausages left out so very cold. Pool area looks out to sea which is nice. Beach at the back of hotel isn't great. Rough pebble beach and it is deserted.

Good hotel.Posted May 31, 2013 on Hotels.com
Good value if compare with the price, only 1450 Baht in low season. Room is clean but the shower is low pressure, should improve it. The hotel is not too far from HadRin. 7-11 is beside the hotel.

Lovely hotel that is in a great location !!Posted Mar 7, 2013
Great hotel. We stayed here for 4 nights during the Full Moon Party and the location is just perfect. Room was clean and staff were friendly. The pool area was spacious enough and breakfast was reasonable. Would definitely stop there again if I was to go back to the island.

Fantastic stay - party central but quiet.Posted Jul 15, 2012
Pros: Location Cleanliness Staff
Cons: Breakfast was the same every day
Location: 5 min walk via beach to the main street of Haad Rin 10-15 min walk via streets to main area
The hotel is on the quieter side of Haad Rin, meaning you can sleep properly when you need a night off the booze and partying, even in peak Full Moon season when we went. The hotel is very well maintained, the staff were extremely helpful and prompt when assisstance was required. The TWO pools - one centrally situated near the blocks of rooms, the other right between the beach and restaurant/bar with an amazing view over the water to Koh Samui - were well kept, clean, and a delight to swim in. Buffet breakfast served until 10am did not cater for those more hung-over time wise, but the spread was good if a little monotonous. The hotel put a 'warm-up session' on the night of the Full Moon Party to ease you into the mood for those less enthusiastic. 5 min walk via the secluded beach to the main part of Haad Rin, or 10-15 min walk by the streets. Great hotel!!

Excellent Customer ServicePosted Jul 5, 2012 on Hotels.com
Loved it! The room had all the amenities we needed, a little balcony, tea & coffee, AC, wi-fi. It was just great. Reception was open 24hrs, and they helped us book an entire leg of our journey the following morning, including wake up calls and everything.

AwesomePosted Jun 12, 2012
Pros: Great Location for fun and relax at the same time
Cons: Around the Full Moon Party, it requires a minimin 5 days booking
Location: GREAT place to stay. Not far from fun beaches and not to close to be disturved
If you go to the Full Moon Party but still want to be able to sleep in a nice, clean hotel, this is your best option. Close enough to walk to the party beach and far enough not to get the noise of music and annoying drunk people around. Is a very nice and clean hotel with two very nice swiming pools an SPA and view to the beach.

One night stayPosted May 11, 2012 on Hotels.com
I thought this was a lovely hotel. I was only in K. Phangan for one night- coming from K. Samui. The room was quite clean and the aircon worked very well. Staff spoke little English, and weren't overly helpful, but got the job done. ****WARNING*** If you are interested in laying around the beach, this is not the place to go. There is a beach, but the water is stagnant. There are two lovely pools, the chairs are a bit worn. If you are in for the Full Moon party, it's a very close to Haad Rin. 3 minutes by taxi. It's a step up from hostels, and FAR better than The Coral a few hotels down the beach. I would definitely recommend if you plan on staying in K. Phangan. If you are interested in nice beaches, Bophut is your best shot in Koh Samui (from what I saw)
