“Would definitely stay here again”

I was impressed with the quality and service of hotel. Staff was helpful and friendly, location was great...I prefer the Lamai area, a little quieter but still plenty going on. This hotel is not right on the beach, if that's what you're looking for, but it is just across the street. The rooms are spacious and have a cool decor. My only complaint of our room (2 beds) was that the beds were not super comfortable, but adequate. Loved the balcony and garden area at night, very relaxing. We rented motor bikes from the hotel, and had a great time cruising around island. I am planning a return trip in the next couple of years, and I will likely stay at the Buddy again.

“Great Place!”

This is a great hotel in a great location. Very comfortable and the whole staff is very friendly. They really make you feel at home. The hotel is located in the Northern Part of Lamai beach which is a bit quiter location but close enough to whole the life and 1 minute walk to one of the most beautiful beaches. In the same complex of the hotel you will find everything, from an Irish pub to a grocery store. Very convenient. I can't think of a better place where to spend a vacation. Insider tip about Samui: Rent a motorbike and start exploring the island!

“Great hotel and good location”

Hotel is good. Staff are great. Wireless internet is worthless but there are computers at the loby which offer free internet. Food is great. Location is also good.

“Friendly, helpful staff”

Our only problems were that the water for our showers were not hot enough and the cleaning staff didn't do a good job of cleaning the rooms. The staff at the reception desk were extremely helpful and efficient. Whatever we wanted, we got :-) And the breakfast was delicious.

“disaster due to electricity blockout in samui isla”

while we stayed at the hotel there was no electricity. so the vacation was ruined we should get our monies back or a FREE holiday anywhere in BANGKOK because we actually lost our valuable time and money The car wash was like working 24 hours outside our veranda the sewage /drainage in the room and toilet wash basin was smelling like the toilet I have reported this and the room was just painted and smelling the front offfice was really kind but u could not commmunicate average breakfast but lots of problems we just could not breath without airconditioned Thanks for looking into this mattter antonios
