I loved every minute in this resort. The service was excellent and the people were very friendly. Make sure to take insect repellant though!

Fantastic locaton in tropical paradise..

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: Location, friendly staff, great food and drinks
Cons: our room was not as nice as a few of the others we saw
Location: The best located hotel
The hotel was a welcome sight after a long flight - we weren't able to check in immediatley but the friendly staff were able to point us in the direction of the Escape Spa where we were able to use the shower room to freshen up... We then did a walk around the resort.. Amazing how it can be so close to all the hustle and bustle of the market stalls, restaurants and pubs out on the main street then transform into a tropical paradise before arriving onto a beautiful part of Chewang beach. The resort has it all - fantastic location, great staff - especailly the friendly bar staff - resort bars have 3 different happy hours (12.00,3.00 and 5.00) I'd recommend the 'frozen island'!!. Food was well priced and of high quality at the resort but there are hundreds of cheaper options available along the main street and beach. Overall I would recommend this to anyone wanting a relaxing and stress free holiday..

Beautiful hotel on the beach!

Posted Jul 19, 2014
Pros: location beach food staff
Cons: more towels in the bathroom
Location: super central location: restaurants and shops across the street: walking distance to malls and other action points
The welcome was great: ice cold drink and cold jasmine infused towel- great way to be welcomed to this resort. The rooms are more like small cabins- very homey and cozy and the beds are huge and comfortable. The best thing about this resort is the location: located on the beach- beautiful white sands and warm blue water. Breakfast is outstanding: huge variety and all fresh items: mangosteen, dragonfruit, fresh croissants, fresh juices, omelettes, breads, baked goods, you name it and they will have it. Definitely try the breakfast when you get the chance- it is worth your buck Staff: super friendly and always helpful Pools: very nice and look out on the beach

Good Value

Posted Jul 18, 2014
Pros: The Pool
Cons: Update the rooms.
Location: good location, plenty of shopping bars etc nearby,
We stayed here with a group after a friends wedding, we had just spent a couple of nights at a far more expensive resort on a different part of the island so our expectations were pretty high. The rooms were a little dated but comfortable and clean, the bed was comfortable. The beach out the front of the resort isn't the greatest but they have 2 pools, one of which has a swim up bar. Would be a great resort for families, we didn't eat in any of the restaurants but it's close to all the shopping and restaurants that chaweng has to offer.

Beautiful Oasis in the heart of Chaweng

Posted Jun 12, 2014
We stayed in a standard room which was absolutely gorgeous and very spacious with our own balcony. I liked the gardens which we're lush and beautiful creating a tranquil oasis away from the bustle of Chaweng. The resort is quiet mostly and good for sleeping at night. They were doing some construction works in a building near reception which was a little annoying during the day with the noise but cannot be helped. The pools were both nice and clean and the resort was very well maintained. Breakfast buffet was huge and varied. The only negative we have with this resort was one night there was a very strong drain/sewer smell out the back of our room which permeated into our room and was very unpleasant.

3rd time we have stayed here, we love it

Posted Jun 4, 2014
We have stayed at chaweng regent 3 years in a row just because we know how lovely Koh Samui is and we wouldn't want to stay anywhere else on the island the location is great, located on the best part of chaweng beach, and at the front of the hotel is where the bars, places to eat and shops are. Staff are very friendly, and the room was always very clean. We didn't have any problems with sun beds being reserved as we had read on here before we went. I would recommend staying here 100%

luxurious resort in perfect location

Posted May 24, 2014
Pros: The beautiful resort staff - all friendly & polite people. The facilities - plenty of things to keep you occupied. I wouldn't say it lacked anything
Cons: perhaps provide more night time activities The showers were cold :(
Location: right on the main street but also right on the beach. lots of restaurants nearby.
I was pleasantly surprised and super lucky to have the pleasure of staying at this resort. From check in to check out the resort staff were very friendly, helpful and genuinely just lovely people. Our room was lovely, had all the facilities we needed and we were very comfortable spending 7 nights there. 2 pretty awesome pools, with deck chairs surrounding and pool side service. There was a day spa and gym. The resort offered activities for people to engage in, but it was a shame as I didn't see many people join in, my friend and I did do a few of the activities and got to bring back great memories and some special souvenirs home with us. I really wanted to do a cooking class at my resort, but because there wasn't enough interest by the other travellers they never went ahead. The location was very handy, being on the main street of chaweng and also right on the beach too. There is very little I could criticise about my experience!
