Great for a relaxing getaway
Quite far out but taxis provided at a fair cost to popular locations. The Spa books up quite fair in advance so we missed out. Customer service was lacking at times and our room was not fully prepared on our arrival (missed bath towels and menus). Other than that, customer service was good at other times. The room was great and had an amazing pool with stunning views.

Sincere service and road access is an issue
Overall service and hotel room are good. I was upgraded to two bedroom suite. My room has balcony and small outdoor pool. However, the common pool is a bit small. Also, the road to the hotel is very steep and my rental car with only 1200cc was barely able yo climb the hill.

beautiful place however alot of inconvenience was caused 2 days of our 7 day stay, we had to change rooms due to not hot water in our first suite, as it was our honeymoon i had to pack again after unpacking, go to different suites to use shower where there was hot water and then come back to our suite. staff were very friendly and helpful however manager was friendly but not really helpful with the outcome of the inconvenience caused, we payed nearly £200 a night which i felt the first 2 days were not worth it at all due to being moved because of no hot water, phone not working to call reception

Nice quiet place. A long way from the beach, shopping or restaurants. The hotel offers a free shuttle down the hill to the nearby 7 eleven (about 5 minutes drive). Hotels restaurant is expensive. Staff are ok, but not great. Water pressure in the rooms is poor (gave up trying to fill the bath after 20 minutes and only filling out about 100mm deep...)

Excellent place to be away from the city .
The staff and manager are extremely friendly and polite . We enjoyed our stay very much . Fantastic sea view and lots of green . Excellent place to rest . We love the peace and serenity. The only disadvantage is the location a bit too far from the tourist spot. Taking hotel taxi is not a problem but can be costly if your stay is long . Overall, we love the place and will be happy to come back again .

rejoice of my soul , the hotel locate on the mountain. hv to pay 1,000 baht for the taxi from the pier. our room are good, with private pool connecting. nothing special around the hotel, neighbour were very quiet. my stay was good for relaxing after celebrate full moon party in koh phangan.

Amazing view overseeing the ocean and courteous staff. We originally had some issues with our first room, and the staff were very helpful and moved us to another room within 30 minutes. Briefly met the hotel manager who was very friendly and easy to chat with. Overall the hotel is great and the room was amazing, but there are some areas that have been neglected (a few stains on the floors and walls, dead bugs on the floors where the cleaners have not vacuumed etc.) it's very clear that this hotel could be truly beautiful with a little bit of maintenance and upkeep.

We stayed at Infinity for 4 nights in Dec 2015. My wife, two year old son and myself. We booked the 2 bedroom duplex sea view. The rooms and staff were great. The staff was very pleasant and helpful with everything we needed on our trip. It's on a mountain so you get great views. For us, I think the issue we had was location. It's not near any of the main areas (chewang, lamai etc) and we found that we enjoyed going to those areas a lot more than staying close to the hotel so travel time in the rental car took a while everyday. it was our first trip and didn't do enough research on where to stay. If you prefer being away from all the hustle and bustle then this is a great place to stay. But if you want to be walking distance to shopping, nice restaurants and a great beach I'd suggest you look closer to Chewang or Lamai.

Overall, we had an enjoyable stay. Room is exceptionally big and comfortable for 2. Kitchen is well-eqipped and staff is very friendly and helpful. However, our stay could be better if pool water wasn't icy cold. It made the swim unenjoyable. Toiletries and amenities are at it's minimal; bath tub was big but there was no bubble bath provided which kind of defeat the purpose of having a bath tub, toothbrush was only provided upon request. There was no handle at bath tub area so had to be very careful when getting up. TV in the living is a little too small for the huge space. Nonetheless, we had a great stay.

Getting great under new management since Jan 2015
We booked for 12 nights at the hotel and having read other reviews we were prepared and had hired a car which is recommended for independant travel up and down the mountain - it really is high up but this gives it one of the most beautiful views on the whole island. The Room was fantastic we had so much space (2 bedroom duplex apartment) and the private infinity pool was brilliant. The grounds are nice and its a really relaxing place to stay. Roger and his team were faultless and did everything they could to make our stay perfect. The new management has only been in place since Jan 2015 and they are working really hard to upgrade and iron out any kinks - this meant for us in July 2015 not everything was perfect but it was heading in this direction and I am sure by high season this will be one of the most popular resorts on the island. We will go back

Large apartment, good service
We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment for 5 nights. For a family of 2 adults and 4 kids (oldest 12 years and youngest being 6 months) we comfortably fit into the 3 bedder. Travelling with a 6 month old we needed the kitchen to make formula and wash bottles. It would have been more convenient to have a microwave to sterilize the baby bottles but boiling the bottles on the cooktop worked just as well. Roger Godin and his team looked after us. We are especially grateful for Martina Mazzali's help who did everything from pop down to the Seven Eleven to pick up nail polish remover for my wife to organising a birthday party for 4 adults and 5 kids (with cake) in our apartment for the 7 year old daughter of one of our friends who was also in Samui (and staying at the Four Seasons). Infinity was a little out of the way and you need a car to get anyway. But what you lacked in convenience you gained in privacy. It didn't feel crowded. The food and spa was good. Both reasonably priced. There are a number of pools in the complex apart from the one in the apartment. The kids loved the pool in the apartment with the glass window.

Home away from home!
This was by far the best part of our month long vacation to Thailand! We arrived on the island later in the evening and most of the taxis had already been snagged so we called the hotel to see if we could arrange a ride as the taxi drivers are all very reluctant to go directly to the hotel (they all want to drop you off/pick you up at the 7-Eleven on the main road) and were surprised when they told us that they would pick us up at the Seaport at no added charge. (Free shuttle according to schedule). The hotel is located on quite a steep hill (breath-taking views) which we already knew prior to check-in. Check-in was really quick and easy, with a fresh cold towel and tropical drink. They took us to our room with a golf cart which they have about 3 of which you can call the front desk 24/7 and they would send someone. Once inside our room, I was blown away by the design and decor. Huge living/dining room with a balcony with dining set. Great for enjoying evening meals with a spectacular view of Ko Phangan. Even has a tiny but quite functional kitchen with a set of dishes/utensils/pots/pans. The bedrooms and bathrooms weren't very big but we did enjoy the oversized bathtubs, king size super comfortable beds and private pool (our pool and most pools got no sun). Small pool for the size of hotel with minimal amount of sun loungers. Really enjoyed breakfast buffet and the cooks/waitresses, super friendly and knew my order after a couple of days. The Manager Roger was exceptional!

Industrial Chic in the heart of the Jungle
Infinity strives to meet an ultra luxury experience. The accommodation features high-end interior design with a pinch of industrial austerity. The breakfast al fresco and the views are astounding. Considerations 1) Some of the complex is not finished. This is, however, not visible. You will only notice if you look carefully, so it will not be a distraction. 2) Not many taxi drivers will go up to the top of the mountain, as it requires 4x4 access. Book ahead for taxi access. Overall, Infinity provides privacy and an interesting stay away from the hustle and bustle of the larger towns on the island as well as a welcome respite from endless beaches.

DO NOT book at this hotel. We booked our last Christmas vacation before our son leaves for university and left 2 days into the stay. Here is why: bed bugs, cockroaches, water flies, spiders, and other bugs inthe house. I have plenty of pictures to share. It's FILTHY. My kids woke up to cockroaches in their bed. In addition to this, the hotel has nothing close to what it advertises on expedias website. - no cafe - no deli - no free spa , they still try to charge you - no DVD in room - no microwave - satellite tv is ten stations of any language besides English and is barely visible They try to nickel and dime you at every turn. The hotel is a ghost town, wonder why. Even though we checked out three days early, they were unwilling to refund any of our money. I guess it's sleep in filth and itch all night or leave. We left. The other units were in the same condition. Location is terrible, service non existent

Beautiful, but secluded
This hotel, while stunningly beautiful - is flawed in a couple of ways. It looks amazing in the pictures, and is almost exactly as described, however it isn't mentioned that the hotel is: a) Far away from the main areas of Chaweng Beach, Lamai and Bophut (Around a half hour cab ride to Chaweng) b) 500m above the main road at the end of a winding, steep road that most taxis will refuse to climb, and which scooters will have trouble navigating. These two factors are not the fault of the staff, indeed they were lovely and could not do more to be accommodating, however - the secluded nature of the hotel is not well advertised, and for a person who wants to be amongst the action, you will be much better served closer to town. If you don't have a hire car, you will be required to book a shuttle down the mountain with reception each time you want to leave and return to the hotel, while there is a timetable of free transfers, if you come back from a late night out, you will have to pay ~$5 for a transfer out of the scheduled timetable. If you're after a week of secluded recovery time and want to stay in a celebrity-rehab style establishment where you can swim, sun yourself and eat a lot of room service, by all means, Infinity is a great choice. If you're more of an experiential traveller and want to see the sights and truly experience Samui, then I'd suggest you stay elsewhere.

X'mas week in Koh Samui
My family of 4 stayed at Infinity between Dec 28 and 31st. I chose this hotel as most of the reviews are 5/5. As a result of the glowing reviews, we were very much looking forward to this holiday. After the 3-night stay, I'd like to weigh in and provide a more balanced review for this property: First, i agree with the previous posts about the service. The staff work very hard to please the hotel guests. However, I believe that most of them may have limited training in what 5 star hotel service is like. The views are spectacular. The state of the furnishing in the units lead me to believe that there are still a lot of 'finishing touches' to be done (e.g., no night tables, there are no handles to most cupboard/closet doors, living room furniture and tv's are too small for the space, there's no cable or dvd players). There's only one restaurant and has very limited offerings. If not for the high $ we paid, I would have been more generous with the ratings. I still believe that the potential is there but the owner needs to invest more in the units.

its a different place altogether. Like a different island perhaps. The hotel is spectacular. It's perched on a mountain offering views of the sea better than the photos. The rooms are ultra modern, service is extraordinary. They provide buggy car to pick u everytime you want to visit spa or pool or breakfast, they provide fortuner 4x4 car service to reach the bottom of the mountain where there is a 7/11 convenience store which is awesome, they provided a cell phone so we can call up the hotel when we are out of the hotel. The breakfast was really good you could order soups ride noodle dishes and the juices were fresh and the view was out of the world. Book a penthouse if u can, or an elegance suite. Whatever room you book you are guaranteed the nosy unique hotel ambiance and feel ever !!! Its like a mini Santorini Greece feel. All white and blue water. Just book this hotel and u ll not want to leave this place !!!!! There's nothibg ww didn't like about this hotel

The design, style, quality and dimensions of the rooms are truly exceptional. Stated simply - these rooms are beautiful. On the other hand, the location of this hotel is absolutely dismal and represents a debilating handicap. It sits atop a tall mountain, reachable by navigating a long, winding, and poorly paved road. Many taxis are in fact reluctant to ascend the steep, extended climb. Once at the hotel, guests are dependent on hotel staff to drive them back down the mountain (for which there is a charge). In addition, the hotel is far away from beaches, restaurants, and all tourist attractions on the island. The hotel's restaurant, pool and spa facilities are unsatisfactory and clearly need further attention. The bottom line is that although the actual hotel rooms are superb, they cannot overcome the severe disadvantage posed by the property's remote location.

Amazing views but a little quiet
This is a difficult review to write as whilst the room and the view were sensational but there was some real room for improvements and for the money we paid to stay I felt it did not quite live up to my expectations. Firstly, I was really annoyed to find the advertised gym did still not exist even though in the resorts literature and also by the information given to previous visitors it was due to be completed in June. I would have not booked this resort if I had realized there was still no gym and this is something that is mandatory for a resort charging this much money and promoting itself as 5 star. The common area around the pool and restaurant has no atmosphere and there are no sun umbrellas. The resort is high on a hill which gives the amazing view but the downside is you have to use their transport which is expensive when you are travelling up and down everyday and added a big amount to the bill. You can catch the transport down to the beach at the base of the hill and they use a bar there called Footprints where you can use the sun beds etc which we did and really enjoyed but we did not get told this when we arrived. Um did a fantastic job in the front office and organized Thai boxing, restaurant bookings and transport for us, however, when she was not around the rest of the staff did not seem as up to the task. The food at the restaurant was really good. My suggestion is too lower the price until the hotel is running at full capacity and finish off the facilities.

Fantastic place for design lovers
Infinity Resorts is a brand new complex high up in the hills, overlooking the Gulf of Thailand and Koh Panghan. The Resort is very modern and its style looks like being inspired by architect Richard Meier. We rented a 2 bedroom duplex but got upgraded to a spacious apartment with both bedrooms on the same floor. The apartment is furnished with brand new design furniture and equipped with all modern amenities you can imagine. The only thing missing was soap to wash our hands in both bedrooms and the kitchen. We had our own private terrace with garden sofas and a lounger, as well as direct pool access. We really loved the fantastic view and the privacy. However, it was very quiet in the resort, which meant there was no critical mass to offer decent breakfast and other food in the restaurant. We tried it only once, but didn't like it at all, especially considering the high prices charged. The other days we went buying food in the super market. However, therefore we absolutely needed a car (which we had rented), since it is too far to walk to the Seven-11 down the hill and super markets are at least 10 km away. In conclusion, we had a fantastic stay for a reasonable price and would recommend the place to others. We however hope that the management can make sure that the resort starts offering value for money in the restaurant.

We stayed at Infinity for six nights and all we can say is WOW. We reserved a 2-bedroom duplex and were upgraded to a 2-bedroom imperial suite upon checkin. The suite is spacious with a huge living room, separate kitchen/dining area, a private lap pool and an stunning, unobstructed 180-degree sea view from both master bedroom and the living room. Most importantly, all the hotel staff in this boutique hotel are well trained and really attended to our needs. Everyone knows our first names before the end of the first day. The front desk manager Aum was extremely friendly and took care of all our asks like private car arrangement, tour reservation, extra beach chair, etc. The restaurant staff went extra mile to make a number of dishes not in the menu and deliveredthem to our room. Hotel General Manager John also greeted us whenever we met in lobby or hotel garden and always asked if we have any special requests. Infinity really makes our vacation perfect. We have been to over 30 countries and stayed at many five star hotels around the world. Infinity Residence and Resort surely comes at the very top. We will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and we cannot wait to come back again :-)

Udsigt der skal opleves
Hotellet ligger oppe i bjergene af en VIRKELIG høj bakke. Vi havde en Honda city og den kunne lige klare turen derop i 1.gear hele vejen. Men når man så kommer op er udsigten og den private infinity pool det hele værd. Kæmpe værelser, og der manglede generalt ikke noget. At bevæge sig rundt på hotellet er på meget stejle bakker, men personale kan kører en såfremt man vil det.

Dårlig utført arbeid på leilighetene hvor gulvene var flekkete, flisene i dusjen skallet av lakk som tettet sluken i dusjen. Dusjen hadde dårlig trykk og skiftet fra varmt til kaldt hele tiden. Vaskehjelpen kom og ringte på kl. 06.30 om morgenen og ringte på 3 ganger før hun gav seg. De som jobbet i resepsjonen fikk ikke med seg at det skulle bestilles taxi når det ble ringt fra rommet og gitt beskjed om det, så vi måtte sitte oppe i resepsjonen i inntil en halv time for å vente på taxi som vi trodde var bestilt på forhånd. Frokosten var et sørgelig kapittel. Vi betalte 5000,- NOK for frokost for 2 personer i en uke og måtte be om frukt, juice, vann, brød, yoghurt m.m hver dag! De klarte ikke å fylle på ingredienser det ble tomt for. Når vi bestilte kaffi ble den servert ca.20 min senere! Ekstremt dårlig utvalg til frokost.

מקום מבודד ללא חוף ים אין מונית שמגיעה עד המלון ,יורדים לאסוף אתכם מהמלון. לא מומלץ!

Nice hotel with beautiful seaveiw
The view is wonderful and amazing. The room is very big and clean which is out of my expectation. But the location of the hotel is far away from the downtown and thus it is not very convenience. Overall, it is a nice hotel to stay and enjoy vocation.

很愉快的一次入住，这边所有基本都很满意，就是酒店距离市区太远，而且酒店在山顶上，只有酒店自己的车子才能上下车，但是车子基本都是随叫随到的。酒店还有房间的环境都很赞，全家住在这里，都是新的体验，很喜欢。
