Hotel facilities are good but food is averagePosted Dec 1, 2013
The hotel facilities and staff are good but the meals were average and charged Australian prices. Disappointing thing about the holiday was that all of the restaurants that we ate at were average (except for The Larder - it was good). So if you are like us and you like your holidays to revolve around great food then Koh Samui isn't probably the spot for you. Though the cheap massages made up for it - the little place right next door to the hotel was great.

BrilliantPosted Nov 28, 2013
Great staff. Everyone remembered us and greeted you in passing. Spa was brilliant! They take you down a secret door passage thing into an underground oasis. Also, the lantern ceremony every night is a great experience. I'm telling all my friends.

Disappointing and dirtyPosted Nov 22, 2013
I was not impressed at all with this hotel. It took about 30 minutes to check in, then we waited another 45 minutes for luggage before giving up and going to reception to ask where our bags were. The room was not very clean. Inside the toilet was dirty. The shower was broken and the head looked dirty. The whole hotel needed a renovation. Hotel didn't really handle our issues when we complained. Outside toilet also meant we got rained on while using it. Plunge pool in room was freezing cold. Had previously stayed in Banyan Tree Bangkok which was amazing and a much higher standard than this in every area.

Great hotel, beautiful setting and delightful roomPosted Nov 10, 2013
Pros: The swimming pool and tropical gardens made this a lovely place to stay along with the easy access to the beach and private pier.
Location: Just a short 15 minute walk and you are in amongst the shops and restaurants of Lamai
We had a wonderful stay at Le Meridien. The hotel was in a great location, just out of the hustle and bustle, yet close enough to walk in to Lamai. The amenities were perfect, the veranda room we had was very nice and we felt extremely comfortable and secure. The food at the restaurant was of exceptional quality and the staff couldn't do enough to please us. Highly recommended, Sue and John.

Wonderful Hotel!Posted Sep 26, 2013
Pros: The staff was great!
Location: Definitely, should visit Silver Beach, which is about a 15 min walk from the hotel. There's really no beach at the hotel.
The staff were amazing. They upgraded our room because it was our anniversary. Just plain wonderful!

Nice hotelPosted Sep 23, 2013
Pros: Nice room, good range on the breakfast buffet, smiling happy staff.
Cons: Internet was pretty poor.
Location: Good range of restaurant and shopping near by.
Nice small boutique hotel, staff are welcoming and friendly if not especailly proficient in English. Room was nice and bathroom large and accommodating. Showerhead could of been unblocked and the rock 'garden' could have been a bit cleaner. The single restaurant was nice but over priced for Thailand, breakfast buffet was good with a good range of choice. The only real issue was not being able to swim at the beach due to very shallow water and alot of slime. Overall though a very nice hotel and would recommend it.

A piece of heaven in SamuiPosted Sep 17, 2013
Pros: Eerything was enjoyable, I didn't find any thing bad!
Cons: maybe inform better the customers of the risks on the beach. But it's a real minor problem, keep it a high standards will be the challenge.
Location: Not far from chaweng city center, tourist attractions provided by the hotel. A convenient store and scooters for rent at the door.
A great hotel with a perfect staff, food and services. Be carreful to the beach, it could be dangerous with the corral. Except this little point, everything is perfect. You can rent a scooter in front of the hotel and reach the busy place a chaweng in 10/15 minutes.
