Nice hotel with great viewsPosted Oct 27, 2013
Just returned from 10 days at the villas, upgraded to a beach view for a small amount extra. The staff are fantastic, friendly & very attentive. The only neg would have to be the breakfast menu, very limited, but again staff just wonderful.

Shame we weren't importantPosted Oct 27, 2013
Whilst it was considered low season and a wonderful time to perform hotel renovations, I cannot fathom why you would plonk is right next to the room being renovated in an empty resort??? We were told in checking in that wifi was unavailable for the next 2 weeks, not happy when we run our own business and rely on the internet. We were also excited by our breakfast being delivered to our room daily when booking......oh wait, no, we have to cross a busy main road on a blind corner to have our breakfast, again not happy. We are very much regulars to Samui and invited our local friends over for a small soirée, whereby reception sent them away as apparently we weren't staying at the hotel.....hmmmmm. This was meant to be a treat for us, but we found ourselves not wanting to be in our luxury retreat due to the constant disruption and empty promises. On mentioning our stay to the client relations manager, he asked us to contact him before we come again to make it up to us. Too little too late, we won't return to this resort again, which is every 3 months...... Shame, we would have been good regular clients.

Nice exotic hotelPosted Sep 30, 2013
Pros: The tropical gardens
Cons: internet arrange free of charge transfers from and to the airport bad canal smell the canal was blocked and we couldn't use the jacuzzi
Location: Not much to do there, except visit the Fisherman village
We had a great 1 week holiday and enjoyed the nice ocean view, our private pool and the excellent gardens.

nice villas, right at the beach frontPosted Sep 20, 2013
Pros: villas were excellent, .and every villas had their own pool..thats the reason why i chose to stay specifically
Cons: , they need to serve halal food. and should offer more shuttle services to other popular beach,
Location: there are nothing very close to it..only relief is there is a family mart right across the road
i stayed here for three nites from the 10th of sep...although i had a booking for a one bed room villa, they upgraded me to a 2 bedroom villa..and i must tell u it was excellent, besides a little language problem, we had a particular miss honey who communicated well with us to make our entire stay more memorable..beach front wasnt too exciting, but pool in the villas was great and comforting..it would have been more exciting with our kids. breakfast was served at the villa it self..which i guess was very comforting. the only negative i can look for is is that they couldnt serve halal food, so we only had vegetarian food.and the wifi never worked on our enitire stay. if u like a secluded place, this is the place to spend.......!

Just what we neededPosted Sep 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
We arrived here during the low season, and were upgraded to their two bedroom sea view villa. Which was great. I'm not sure if we would have enjoyed our stay as much if we were in one if the smaller villas away from the beach. Pros: Very friendly staff. Free mini bar which is refilled everyday. Complimentary kayak and life jackets. The villa's fridge had an ice machine, which came in handy for home made cocktails :) Really good convenience store right across the street. Within walking distance of two of the islands best restaurants, O r g a s m i c and Ad Hoc. They run their own relatively cheap fixed price taxi service in air conditioned mini vans. Access to a large pool and other facilities in their apartment complex which is right across the street. Cons: The food is awful, so don't even bother. They don't have a kitchen there, so I'm guessing the food is brought in from elsewhere and is not in great shape by the time it gets to you. We had breakfast the first morning and then decided to eat elsewhere or make our own with stuff bought from the store across the street after that. While the villa was kept very clean by the staff (they even clean your dishes for you if you decide to cook), I felt that the interior design of our room was a bit dated and could do with being brought up to a more modern standard.

Great stayPosted Jun 23, 2013
Pros: Swimming pool and villa facilities
Cons: Average beach and location
Very friendly staff, comfortable villas with fantastic views. Pools great for swimming with small kids. Location not fantastic, a fair walk to restaurants, bars etc.however, accommodation taxi reasonably priced and usually readily available. Beach not good for swimming. All in all though, nice place.

A Tranquil SettingPosted Jun 21, 2013
Pros: The Jacuzzi and sitting outside.
Cons: The outdoor music was too repetitive and sometimes too loud but we told the staff and they are trying to rectify it.
Location: Good location. A short taxi drive to the local town and to Fisherman's Village. The taxi from the resort takes you free to the main beach once a day.
We stayed 8 days at Punpreeda Pool Villas and had a very relaxing holiday. The setting for our villa was superb, the Jacuzzi was a lovely way to relax and enjoy the view of the bay at the same time. We really appreciated the free mini bar and the friendliness of the staff. The choice of options for the breakfast was very good and the quality of the food including the in service menu food was excellent. We took full advantage of using the outdoor lounges provided for us to sit near the bay and enjoy a quiet, tranquil drink at the end of each day. The resort is in a good location both to town and Fisherman's Village.

best place for relaxing, top notch place!Posted May 5, 2013
Pros: very friendly staff, quiet and relaxing
Cons: nothing, it was perfect!
Location: located next to the beach with a walkway to the beach
stayed here 3 nights to relax. made a request to have flowers on the bed when arriving as it was our honeymoon and they delivered and more. the room i had booked as not available so we received a free upgrade to a bigger room and upon entering we were greeted with canapes and wine and staff were very friendly and nice. showing us around the room and the bed was laid with flower petals and the towels were arranged like swans, simply beautiful and i thank the staff for doing this. breakfast was delivered each morning at a time that was convenient to us and tasted delicious. it was great place to stay as it was private and quiet area, perfect for couples and to relax. we had our own small private pool which was refreshing also, with views of the beach. we were offered activities such as free hiring of the kayak for unlimited time and free dvds to watch in our rooms. unfortunately some dvds stalled midway through the movies, but the place was so comfortable we didnt care. I have to say this was the best place i have stayed at and wouldnt hesitate to recommend to any couples wishing to stay at a relaxing and quiet place with very friendly staff.

A very romantic stay!Posted Apr 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
Punpreeda is up the hill a bit from the touristy Fisherman's Village, but still has its own slice of quiet beach. We loved the private plunge pool! And the room came with a bottle of wine, which was lovely. The breakfast is included and served in the room at a time of your choosing, which was really nice. The construction across the street was a bit of a noisy inconvenience, but we only stayed for one night so it wasn't a big deal. The staff were extremely helpful, even using their own cell phones to help us change our flight times as we were having trouble figuring out how to dial Thai-style. A really wonderful experience!
