Unique hotel!Posted Feb 25, 2014
Loved this unique hotel. The outdoor bathrooms add to the experience, and the little villas are great with their own kitchen and living areas. Pool is nice, staff friendly. It's a bit of a walk to the main street (Fisherman's Pier),about 10 minutes. Which can be quite a struggle in the heat. The area the hotel is in is on a main busy street, which must be walked to get to the touristy bit. I would highly recommend this hotel and fisherman's pier to my friends. Great place to stay for a night or 2.

Strange place.Posted Jan 29, 2014
Cons: Fix problem with mosquitos in rooms.
Location: Carting is located near the hotel. Also, Fisherman Village place is within walking distance.
The hotel is located at Bophut Beach. It is quite good place, not very noisy and not too silent. There are a lot of shops, restaurants, agencies of entertainments, there is clear and beautiful beach. About hotel. There is no own hotel's beach and it is about 15-20 min to go by foot to the nearest beach. Good territory of the hotel, but you can face a snake as forest is near the hotel. Rooms are dark. There are mosquitos in rooms and staff can't help with it. Also we cannot find any remedy without flavour to solve this problem. If you need to order taxi or transfer to airport, do it in the afternoon, nobody in the hotel will help you to order car in the evening.

Great valuePosted May 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
Great value, great Thai decor, staff very friendly and welcoming. Pool area was clean and well maintained with lounge chairs for relaxing. Right across the road from the Fishermans Village markets, a 2-3 min walk to the beach and the restaurant strip along the beachfront. Great alternative if you are not worried about seeing the ocean and want quality and value.

Awful placePosted Aug 9, 2012 on Hotels.com
Do not go to this hotel, it is very basic, the toilet and shower are outside. The town it is in, Bophut, has very few amenities. I asked the Hotel Manager where the nearest ATM was and was told it was a taxi ride away or by moped (unsurprisingly, they hire them). There were three within 5 mins walk. Check out the reviews on Trip Advisor, which I found when I arrived... If you're going to Koh Samui go to Chaweng Beach, world's apart from Bophut. Chaweng really is a great place.

Samui Heritage Resort , a small gem .Posted Mar 20, 2012 on Hotels.com
Lovely small, quiet, hotel with character tucked away at the end of a side street off the main road. The staff are friendly and smile a lot. Don't expect the same information and knowledge as larger more star hotels , you can get that from travel agents in Fisherman's Village , a 10 to 15 minute walk away. Beware of crossing the busy road .....it can take awhile, and as I found later in my stay in Koh Samaui it is not uncommon to have this challenge with traffic and crossing or walking on the roads. Overall I thought this hotel very worth the $ 's I paid and would have stayed longer if I had not had other commitments ....actually I was sad to leave .

Excellent value and a really good hotelPosted Mar 2, 2012
Pros: Pool area superb. Rooms are excellent value for money. Staff were really helpful
This was a superb hotel. For the star rating it has, this punches way above it weight. The rooms are comfortable and have everything that is needed. The pool and reception areas are very good and even better than quite a few more expensive hotels. I only stayed for a night as I was transferring to another island but the stay was a great start to my break. Many thanks to all the staff.
