July 9, 2016. Dear Anbe, Thank you very much for your taking time off to extend your review of your holiday with us at Tradewinds by Lawana. We are sorry that we are not able to give more umbrellas on the beach because the winds can be strong and will blow them away and make it impossible for us to control. We only provide hot water in the shower and not in the wash basin which is normally not necessary because our water is warm naturally every minute in this tropical country of Thailand. I hope this is not a problem and I am sure all other hotels on Ko Samui do not offer this hot water in the wash basin, especially we are only a simple 3 star beach resort and definitely not a luxury resort. Our neighbour can be more luxurious at 5 times the prices from us. The mosquitos will be with us as we have big green garden and in this tropical climate, we will have mosquitos everywhere in Thailand, guests are recommended to close the doors behind you when you leave the room and dress long for your outside dinner to protect yourselves so you can enjoy your dinners in peace. Our most important quality is the location which is the best beach and best shopping and entertainment. Our rates are very affordable so guests can stay with us a week and longer and it will not cost very much. Please come back. Suwan

However, during your stay, you can always complain it to the manager and we will be more than happy to correct it or give you a new room. Clean room is guaranteed. We always want to improve our quality. Regarding the mosquitoes, this is normal in all tropical cities and guests should keep the door shut behind them to keep out the mosquitoes. Our daily cleaning service will also spray any mosquitoes in the room. In the evening when you go out for dinner, I strongly suggest that you wear long dresses to protect yourselves from mosquitoes.
