Strandhotel an belebter Hauptstrasse

Posted Feb 28, 2015

Good location, good value

Posted Feb 11, 2015
Pros: Compared to most in the area it was very good.
Cons: Salt water pools instead of chlorine based.
Location: Central Lamai, walking distance to all restaurants and bars
Easy check in with pleasant staff. Good spot at the beach with massage available and restaurant on the beach side.

séjour agréable dans l'ensemble

Posted Jan 31, 2015

Good all rounder

Posted Jan 12, 2015
Pros: Very clean, good repair, great location on the beach. Staff were efficient, very helpful and prompt. Everything was consistent and well run.
Cons: Pretty solid, consistent all round operation. I can't really think of improvements. It provided a great, affordable, pleasant holiday.
Location: On the beach. Great restaurants like Bamboo close by on the beach with fantastic fish, thai food and location...who doesn't enjoy eating on the beach?
Very pleasant stay for three weeks. Third time to Lamai, this was a very good all rounder hotel - good price, good facilities, family orientated. On the beach with good access to excellent local restaurants 100 metres up the beach.

Beautiful hotel right on the beach

Posted Dec 8, 2014
Pros: The pools, the staff, the quality of the rooms
Cons: Having multiple wifi users per room, or improving the way to log out as it is extremely difficult to find
Location: Heaps of bars, lots of pool tables, definitely recommend hiring a motorbike and checking out lamai. Night markets on a Sunday, jetskis
We stayed in the weekender resort for a week and we were so surprised by what we found! We had a standard room on the ground floor which was a bit annoying as there was a gap in the door and you could never have the curtains open due to people walking by, but the room was beautiful and so cheap, we were given fresh sheets and towels every morning and the staff were extremely friendly! We were so surprised by the pools, yes not one pool but three! They overlooked the beach and they were fantastic with sun loungers and umbrellas everywhere, and you could walk down the beach and find amazing restaurants and bars or dine in at the hotel restaurant however it was very overpriced. We did not include breakfast in our room, and when we enquired about how much it would be to purchase breakfast they started at one price down at the restaurant and then increased the price by 100THB per person by the time we had got to reception to purchase a ticket. It ended up being heaps cheaper going to nearby restaurants and getting big brekkies for 200THB. The only downside to this hotel is that they only provide one person to use the wifi at a time per room, and it is expensive to purchase another wifi and impossible to log out of the wifi. Apart from that the hotel was incredible and we loved our stay and there were heaps of things to do around, definitely go jetskiing and ask about all the tours and go for a wander down the street its fantastic!

Pleasant and relaxing

Posted Nov 18, 2014
I visited during early November, which is off peak. It was just enough people and quiet at the same time. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was very good, and the location is 200M from Lamai city center. Nice, would recommend to singles, couples, or families.
