The staff are pleasant and helpful. But the amenities are poor for the price. The towels in the bathroom looked very old. Breakfast is truly terrible. There is usually a huge wait before anything hot and mad-to-order is served. Prepared food from eggs to South Indian were very average. Silver and napkins are drug store quality. Tables were unclean and the staff seems lacking basic things to clean well.

Property is looking old and tired. I moved rooms three times. the accoustics in the hotel is such that trying to get a full nights sleep is almost impossible with staff dragging furniture out by the poolside at 5:30am. This is not the Radisson standards I have come to expect.

The hotel is fairly new and well maintained. I just stayed for one night and did not have any issues at all. The bed and bathroom were clean but there were very few meaningful television channels that I could watch. Unlike a couple of other Radissons that I stayed at recently (e.g. Delhi and Hyderbad) where breakfast was quite the spread, this one was fairly modest. But food was tasty so no complaints. Finally, I do not wish to be snooty but I was a little surprised that for a 5-star hotel most of the staff (including the breakfast manager) could not speak proper English. This is not a ding; just an observation. Everybody was helpful and I do not wish to take that away from them. Another observation was that the security at the gate was pretty lax. All hotels I stay at make the driver pop the trunk and hood and walk around with a mirror for the underside. At this hotel the security just waved my Uber driver in.

Great rooms and bath items. Bed and linens comfortable Staff at breakfast seemed stressed. Suggest having more staff attend to beverage needs of hotel guests. We had the longest wait securing breakfast beverages. Americans are most happy with ready access to hot coffee and tea. We are used to being able to access and get out own beverages. Your hotel was impeccable. We enjoyed our experience and would return next time we are in Calcutta. We rank you above Grand and Peerless Inn

In Indian way of rating, this is a 5 Star hotel.... In my 45 years of business related international travel experience; this is no better than a (USA) 3 star hotel !! If this facility was located in US it would have been the target of a multitude of lawsuits. The bathroom is so slippery that it takes a second adult to help a person come out of shower. The amount of mold on the bathroom caulking is disgusting. If the management wants to claim "5 Stars", then they have to direct their attention to these details. We were there for seven days (12/7/18-12/14/18). Simultaneously Marwari (an Indian ethnic / tribe) weddings were taking place. These attendants let their children run wild in all areas, especially in the Breakfast area. One night, our adjacent room had a few wedding revelers who made loud noises. It took the hotel security at least an hour to quell the disturbance. I just hope that the Management would pay attention and align their facilitiy's general demeanor to fit the 5 Star rating.

Good hotel Excellent location. Good food Staff is good too. Gym is too small Had visited the spa.Didnt get a hard copy of bill.was told to pay 2700 for the services which I thought was a bit too high. After 8 hrs once I am back in mumbai I get a sms of the bill and the bill is 2100 and they say that I have paid 2100. Don't know where the 600 went. The hotel admin should know this happened.

Nice Hotel with a Great Location
Location is great. Malls, local market (Gariahat Market), Pantaloons and many other shopping centers are nearby. Check in was smooth but check out was lengthy. Hotel is clean, and the staffs did a great job. They have restaurants on site, which is open twenty hours. This makes life easy. Check in was easy and smooth. Only complain we have is the wifi. This was very poor during the entire stay. Other than this, we had a pleasant stay.

Descent hotel but poor food service
The property is ok for the business traveller as the location is nice, rooms neat n clean. The main draw back of this property is the quality of food and moreover the Resturant and room service. Getting the right food is the biggest challenge. It is advisable to stay here and eat out.

Decent stay
Had a quiet and peaceful stay with prompt housekeeping, in room dining service, free breakfast with good indian food options. Missed the oats, got a room on 6 th floor with a view on request but windows were stained, not cleaned from outside so view was spoiled. Nice roof top full service spa and pool and a nice city view rooftop lounge.

Not Upto The Mark
I was in a deep shock cause no body could recognize this Hotel.Most of the people is uninformed about the fact that the Hotel name is changed into Radisson Kolkata Ballygunge.After searching almost one hour few people could recognize it at Hotel Park Plaza.It was situated in a Residential Area.The front desk was very slow and not even properly trained ,They were asking us whether our booking include breakfast or not.Restaurant was terrible ,Food was not so tasty.Though they told it is open 24 hours ,but when we entered at 11.00 most of the item was Unavailable .At breakfast time service was too bad,they don't even provide cups for tea or coffee.You have to order them ,then they will make for you at least after 5-10 minutes .And the same old foods .Overall i feel it was a very bad choice with a huge amount of money.

Had a good experience regarding the stay at the hotel. However, we hosted a party for which we scheduled a F2F meeting with the hotel 4 months before arrival. But the banquet Manager did not have any documents and did not know anything about our previous communication with the hotel. After our 1st meeting with the Manager, we scheduled another meeting and this time also she did not have any documents regarding the previous meeting. This experience was not satisfactory.

Well Run Hotel
Great hotel unfortunately we had a back room looking out on a derelict building. Otherwise this hotel offers great facilities with good bar and restaurants. Staff extremely helpful. This hotel is very central so easy to see the sights but it is 40 minutes to the airport if you leave early in the morning but 1 hour 15 minutes during rush hour something to bear in mind. Would definitely stay again.

Extremely Disappointed. First visit to Kolkatta so was very excited. Booked hotel almost 1.5 months in advance through Expedia by paying full cost. First room was with Fungus /dirty room, carpets thread coming off, grumpy front desk. Booking was for 3 pax but room was not made up for 3. Vacated the room after checking in and informed Expedia. No resolution from expedia till date. Room was changed in the evening but did not stay. Stench of smoke and alcohol in the corridors. Expedia and Hotel both are pointing fingers at each other without resolution even after 6 days.

Professional yet homely hotel
Very impressive interiors..with all comforts. The staff is well trained and are very quick to respond and assist. I love the buffet breakfast spread, the ambience of all the restaurants. The Pan Asian outlet adds variety to the food. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with everything at the touch of a button. Hotel is so well located, right in the heart of Kolkata. This is our second stay here and we will return.

This was our second stay and again we were very impressed with the consideration of staff and their friendly attitude to us. The breakfast was delicious and Sanjay most helpful. Always a smile and while being very professional. We look forward to our next stay.

Very nice hotel, modern, staff fantastic.
On arrival we were made to feel very welcome and catered for all our needs. Pool gorgeous. Room comfortable and clean. Breakfast was exquisite, both Indian and Western food. Best omelette and poached eggs cooked to order. Staff very helpful, in fact Chirantan Sengupta, one of the Concierge team took the time to escort us to the ATM machine. We were very impressed with his consideration for us.We look forward to our return in 7 days time and then again for 4 days.

This place is a scam
This hotel is deceiving. They have a very hard time telling the difference between smoking and non-smoking rooms - apparently if no guest is not smoking in the room currently then it qualifies as a non-smoking facility. This place is not family friendly at all...these idiots picked an argument with my 2 year old who wanted to see the moon. The manager was confused why anyone would want to see the moon! Anyone wanting to actually stay at this hotel should leave these basic questions unanswered as repeated inquiries to managers seemed to leave them more confused. Save money and pick a different hotel.
