Amsterdam, the national capital, is about 35 miles (56 kilometers) to the south of Kop van North-Holland, while Haarlem is 30 miles (48 kilometers) to the south.

Binnenmuseum, Enkhuizen Stadhuis and Drommedaris are also worth calling into before heading back to Kop van North-Holland.
