“Tigaki and Hotel Tigkai Star - Well worth a visit!”

What a lovely hotel and a lovely town to stop in!!! The staff at Hotel Tigaki Star were always on hand to help us with any problems no matter what time of day or night and you always felt warmly welcomed. The accommodation was well looked after both the rooms and the grounds around the hotel and the maids were extremely polite and left the room spotless!!! We really could not fault anything about the hotel and would eagerly encourage other people to stop there. The hotel was situated at the end of a very quiet road about 5 minutes walk away from the main street which had lots of traditional tavernas with few bars which is good if you like a quieter holiday, although the few bars there did stay open late if you wanted them to. The whole town of Tigaki had a welcoming feel to it and everywhere we went we felt safe and welcomed. The hotel was about 5 - 10 minutes walk from the beach which was easily accessible and there were always enough sunbeds and parasols on the beach if you wanted to pay for them. The flights with Olympic Air were also very good with good customer service, very quick transfer times (55 minutes for iour return flight from Kos to Athens theh Athens to London) and much more leg room than with the lower cost airlines. Once again, we will definitely be flying with Olympic Airlines again in the future. Overall, a very pleasing holiday which we would recommend to anyone to try for themselves!
