Uncomfortable bed

Posted May 26, 2014
I stayed in two rooms 614 and 615. Both had mattresses that sagged badly in the middle. Was disappointing considering the upmarket price of rooms.

Pros: The View
Cons: The Mattresses
Location: Mount Kinabalu, Great Hiking
Great Location, Great View, Nice Room, Worst Bed Ever ! King Mattress with huge indentation in the middle. The Worst I have ever slept in.

Has all amenities required

Pros: Everything
Great place to stay and has everything you would expect at a holiday resort. The business class lounge was excellent and i would advise those thinking about staying here to upgrade to business class standard.

Cons: The mattresses are very hard and the comforters too thin.
It was conveniently located. Close to town and the airport and also has recreational facilities near by such as diving etc.

GOOD BUT ....

The mattress and all cushions for chairs are so worn down that it hurts my back to sit or to sleep.

Great hotel that has it all

Posted Dec 6, 2013
Pros: Very easy to organise trips from the hotel. Great concierge and rooms had everything you needed. Had free wifi and free breakfast which was great
Location: It is a short taxi ride away from town so if you are planning on eating cheap (i.e. not in the hotel) you will have to plan on this
A very good hotel that was well worth the money.

Pros: location and use of all facilities within the Sutera complex
Cons: more attention to breakfast facilities..eg coffee machines are well stacked.
Location: From Sutera Harbour you can go into Town...or to the Islands or take any of the many trips on offer
Sutera Harbour is a great place for a holiday. If you like golf even better.location is terrific with use of all venues in the resorts.small but nice beach and great HAPPY HOURS.

good overall

Posted Oct 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
I stayed 3 nights for a business trip. This hotel is full of Korean tourists, and the hotel had Korean-speaking staff, which was convenient for me, also a Korean. Breakfast was included and almost like Chinese, so so, as good as other ordinary hotels. The location is good, near the city. Outdoor pool is large and has nice view of sunset. Pool side bar is not so good but expensive. Bathroom needs some upgrades.

We were upgraded to a suite, which was excellent. Very clean room, well maintained. Wonderful view from room. Breakfast was pretty good too.

Hourly shuttle (with fee) to downtown KK. Great view from either side of the room - golf course or marina. Great hotel.
