PEACEFUL RETREAT IN LOVELY SETTINGPosted Nov 14, 2013
Pros: the setting and the staff.
Cons: They cannot improve it, but while it has a lovely swimming pool there is no beach, as it's too shallow to swim in.
It takes a taxi, then a boat, then a tuk tuk to get to this beautiful retreat. The lodges are very nice and the food is excellent in the hotel. The staff are very friendly too. A great place to relax, but if you want to dash off to different places you will be disappointed, as it is remote. However you can explore the island on bicycles and see the local fisherman and islanders going about their every day lives.

Quiet cottage getawayPosted Oct 30, 2012
Pros: Peaceful, friendly staff, convenient to Singapore
Cons: Breakfast was not the best. Lunch and dinner are good. Thai food is good.
Location: 20 minutes from Krabi airport, then 5 minute boat ride to island and 20 minute tuk tuk ride. Scenery great so good trip.
This was our second time staying at the resort. It is a perfect getaway for rest and relaxation. The resort is small and very peaceful. It reminds us of cottage life in North America. Lots of time to read, swim, go for a bike ride on the island (no cars), long walks on the beach or kayak. We did venture out the first trip on the Long Boats to snorkel and visit other islands and sandy beaches. A good day trip. However, if you want night life and sandy beaches then go to another island. We went with friends the first visit and enjoyed having company. We also liked being alone the second time. Rooms are clean and staff very friendly.

Place to be yourselfPosted May 20, 2012
Pros: The sea view pool .
Cons: Saw a green snake around
Location: Located in a remote village right place for a single or with family
The hotel is beautifully done and peaceful . Paid minor attention while building up this place. Clean and neat . It's little far from the krabi town. But the hotel has an arrangement done for Tuk Tuk which is free of cost if u r following the schedule.food is good too.

A great resort in a remote locationPosted Feb 1, 2011
A stay at this resorted is highly recommended for those looking for some rest and relaxation. The location is quite remote and getting there can be difficult. Be sure to arrange transportation to the resort before hand. The resort is beautiful and gives a very traditional Thai village feel. Staff are friendly and helpful. Bikes can be rented free of charge for a cruise around the village. The resort and surrounding area is not for the insectaphobe, as their are quite a lot of insects in and around the resort due to the geography no doubt. The surrounding area is farmland. It's isolated - so this is the place to be for rest and relaxation, not for those looking for a populated area with much to do. The closest real city/town is Krabi Town, which would take at least 45 mins to get to.
