“Great hotel for the money”

The hotel room and facilitis were great, nice spacious room, clean and well appointed. The only negative we have to mention is the extensive building work taking place next door - which started before 7am daily and carried on well after dark. Thankfully we were often out so not too badly affected by it. It is also a shame that for a hotel of this standard that wifi is not included as a free service, It was dissappointing to have to pay as this has often been free when staying in far cheaper establishments. 500 bht for 10 hours is very overpriced for this service.

“Good hotel, quiet location”

Upon arrival we were given a refreshing cocktail and upgraded to a pool view room, which was a nice touch. The hotel was relatively quiet when we arrived although it got quite busy and chaotic when a large group arrived for a conference. The location of the hotel is at the far end of Ao Nang, so a bit of a walk into town or to the beach, but you can easily take a tuk-tuk if necessary. Breakfast was average, but they offer very reasonable prices and variety for lunch.

“Good Value & Location”

This is a comfortable hotel with good service and is reasonable value for the range. Free internet access is a plus. English speaking TV channels are a bit limited. It was our second stay here so we think the hotel is a good mid-range option without being outstanding.

“Will not be using this hotel again!”

This hotel on the face of it looks O.K.when viewing the pictures at the time of booking. But!!! on arrival one can hardly miss the slightly ramshackle street in which it is placed, nor the fact that on one side it is bordered by what appears to be an abandoned building site, now full of stagnant water - a lovely breeding ground for mosquitos, and on the other side was the persistant sound of the adjacent hotel having major building work carried out. Foul smelling drains were also apparent during our stay. The food, both breakfast and evening meals is the worst hotel food that i have ever experienced both in quality and choice. The overall presentation of the restraunt and general cleanliness left something to be desired. Having paid for breakfasts we chose very rapidly to eat elsewhwere. On the positive side the reception staff were pleasant, helpful and well trained and have a very good local knowledge.
