unnecessary charges

Posted Dec 17, 2014
Book hotel for 1 night(1 adult + 2 child) and was made to pay extra charges because of "3rd person". I paid but later when I checked their website, child under 12 stays free. My first child is 12(can consider as adult) but second child is 9. Complained to the front desk and they asked me to check with Expedia instead. I don't think Expedia has anything to do with it because the hotel is the one charging on the spot. I showed them their website but yet they themselves not sure what to do. I asked to speak with manager and refund but manager wasn't there and they simply ignore. I asked for receipt for the payment made but instead got a receipt without any hotel letterhead etc(i.e those type of receipt you can buy at any bookstore). A very dubious practice. All should think twice before choosing this hotel. A very bad experience. Will never go to this hotel. Stayed in holiday Inn Phi Phi for the rest of 5 nights.

hotel is oki-oki.

Pros: nothing much as it's a little way in to go down to the other side of aonang where many Muslim foods are being sold.
Cons: provide halal food for the Muslims. you serve pork in your restaurant knowing that that you have many Muslims guests. we have to buy breakfast outside
Location: location is a little way too in. we have to walk out quite a distance to get halal food especially in the early morning it's not convenient.
nothing special because we left early mornings for our tours and came back only at noon. everytime we wana get food we have to go out as the restaurant does not serve halal food. i was told the Muslims population is at least 50% but too bad i cant eat in your restaurant. have to go all way out to buy especially breakfast. very inconvenient because most times the tour agent will come at around 8am and we have to go out at 6.45am or 7am to rush and pack breakfast outside. the rooms need more cleaning. i can see ants crawling here and there.

Lights are too dim

The room is too small . Lights are dim. Front staff not friendly. Have to pay for internet in the room. Charges are very very high. Still can be improved.

A wonderful location to stay, and a homely hotel

Posted Nov 24, 2014
Loved the location. Just next to the hustle bustle of Ao Nang. If you're like me who wants peace and tranquility when you want, and a short walk to the main beach, then this is it for you! Cozy rooms. The hotel isn't big, but feels just like home. The only bad part was that all rooms had connecting door inside which were really thin and partly open - means no "private time". You can hear even the slightest whispers in the room next door. @Tip - Rent a bike for 200 Baht from the outside market and go crazy driving around Krabi! In fact, book all your tours from outside. Bargain! Great breakfast BTW! Must book!

Convenient location by the beach.

Posted Nov 20, 2014
Pros: Convenient location, pool, friendly staff
Cons: Wifi only available at the reception area.
Location: Boogie Bar is a great place to listen to live bands and relax with a beer or two.
The staff at this resort are very friendly. You can catch the longtail boats to other beaches like Railay Beach right across from the resort. There are lots of bars and restaurants in the surrounding area. There is a nice pool there, so nice place to just chill and relax. The rooms are fairly large for Thai standards.

Photo, and experience doesn't match!

Posted Nov 3, 2014
Mosquitoes invaded our rooms, we were forced to open another room when the four of us petit girls can fit into one room which we have no issues on. And the bed fitted the four of us perfectly. We ended up changing rooms to sleep together on different nights. Hotel is abit creepy, the four of us were disturbed on the 1st and last night. We were located at level 1 near the pool. Something just do not want us there. Overall the resort really is a disappointment.

Close to the beach & quite surrounding

Posted Sep 1, 2014
Pros: quite surrounding, near to the beach, near to mini mart and restaurant.
Cons: do something for the mosquitoes inside the room, and put more effort to clean the toilet bowl
Location: must try aonang boat noodle
it was my 2nd time to stay at this hotel. I think the room door and windows was open while it's empty, so inside the room got lots of mosquito. But after me and my boyfriends settle out the mosquitoes it was quite a pleased to stay :) It's a little bit walking distance to go to the main aonang street, but you can rent a motorbike from the hotel, so that's not a problem for us.
