“Perfect location, simple and nice”

The room was very basic but easy to forget when you see the surroundings. Perfect location, close to the center and restaurant areas but far enough to enjoy some quietness and peace. You do have to hike and walk but its not so bad. The place is rustic, simple, but beatiful, Do not expect luxury. i would definetely stay there again. The location is simply perfect, the view, amazing. All rooms have view to the ocean,

No real complaints about this hotel besides maybe the location. Koh Phi Phi has no roads and very few bikes to rent. This hotel is about 1-1.5 miles away from where the more popular night spots are. There are good restaurants and some fun bars really close, but if you plan on 'going out' be prepared for a long walk. Other than that, the hotel was probably the best hotel we stayed at during our trip. Even had a view (albeit somewhat blocked) of the ocean from the balcony. Will stay here again the next time I go to Koh Phi Phi. Also, if you are on the fence about coming to Koh Phi Phi in general, I would have traded all the days we spent in Bangkok and half the days we spent in Phuket for more days on Phi Phi. Seriously. It's gorgeous... BOOK IT!

“Great location...poor staff”

Great place overall. Location is close enough to the village but far enough away from the noise. Everything was good minus the staff. They could have been a little more accommodating with the services. I asked for luggage storage while I was on a Mr. Local snorkeling excursion (Highly recommended). The puzzled look I got was not inviting. In addition to the fact that there is no late check out to accommodate for being on one of their excursions as well. I asked where the shower was to wash sand off and knowing there was one in the bathroom nearby, they claimed to not have one. I guess once you are checked out of the hotel, they lose all sense of customer service. Even while we were staying, it seemed like our presence as guests in this establishment was an annoyance to the staff. Absolutely unprofessional!

The setting is great, a good distance from the hustle and bustle of the town but a pleasant walk away. The bungalows are sprawled across a (very) hilly area so be prepared for a bit of hiking! Receptionists and restaurant staff were useless but the manager is ruthlessly efficient and the maintenance staff and pool bar staff are a pleasure.

“Beautiful location - loved it”

Loved the fact that a Long Boat picked us up from the Pier and took us straight to the Hotel and there were plenty of people to help with bags from the boat to the rooms. The room was big and had a great view from the balcony, even had a friendly Gecko staying with us. One criticism is that the Pool isn't very well signposted, could do with signs from the reception area. Other than that, great service, close to plenty of restaurants and they offered some great snorkelling trips. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would happily recommend it to others. Phi Phi was beautiful and can't wait to go back.

I'd only stay here because it's away from all the noise on phi phi island. This place did the job. the rooms are very basic.. very basic. so dont expect much from the rooms. the breakfast was basic as well. dont expect much from the breakfast. The location is what you are paying for. its' a great location as it's tucked in the corner of the main beach and there arent too many people on that side of the beach. By the way, we were there during the xmas eve/xmas day period and the hotel had organised a manditory Xmas Eve Gala Dinner which included a huge spread of all sorts of food... 3 out of 4 of my friends got a stomach flu. So... I'd watch what I eat at these places. Would I come back here again? Probably just because it was cheap and the location was good. but if i had more money, i'd go to the quieter area where the resorts are nicer.

“Great location on the beach”

The bungalows are basic but are in a great location. You can walk along the beach to the markets in town and it takes 5 minutes. We didn't have a view of the beach from our room or balcony. The plumbing in our bathroom smelt like sewerage. On both occasions when we asked for beach towels from the staff at reception,and they seemed annoyed. if you go to breakfast latter in the morning 9.am, they have run out of plates, cutlery, food...so I suggest you eat earlier in the morning. We needed to catch a boat early in the morning to go scuba diving, and the staff were VERY obliging and happy for us to eat breakfast earlier. There is a sufficient selection of food available for breakfast. We ate lunch sitting at the tables on the beach with our feet in the sand at the hotel restaurant and it was the best prawn spring rolls I have ever tasted!
