Not too far from the tourist areasPosted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: It is within walking distance to the tourist shopping area.
The one night stay was a pleasant one. The swimming pool area and walkway were pretty messy because of a heavy rain earlier. The room was simple but decent. However, the breakfast was a real disappointment for those who don't take meat.

Pros: room big and clean
When i check out, they told me pay for the mineral water. I did not touch anything inside the fridge. I rushing to airport in the morning and the trasport is waiting for me. I got no time to find out what happened, so i paid them and leave the hotel.

everything that you can ask for for that pricePosted Jun 10, 2014
very cheap hotel with high standard. Hotel is clean, rooms are awesome. Very comfortable. Air-conditioner are working very well (some other well known hotels in big cities have lousy air-cond despite the high rate)... close to the beach in a good neighborhood. very cheap scooter for rent. Very helpful staff.

Great location & room...staff can be better.Posted Jun 9, 2014
Pros: Location and room.
Location: Near the beach...
We stayed at Buri Tara from 28-31 May. The location was great not too congested but still close enough to the main road and the beach. The rooms were spacious and clean...the walls need fresh coating of paint but this isn't too much of an issue considering the price. Room was non-smoking but we could live with that since it has a balcony which compensates for that. The bed was comfortable and hotel provided 4 pillows which was nice. The toilet was just the right size and had we need but water was yellowish. We tried the massage at the hotel, it was ok nothing spectacular. The massage area was not up to par, no airconditioning and people walking by can see you from the outside. The massage across the street was more worth it. I've nothing to complain about the hotel and we did enjoy our stay. Just wish the staff we're a bit more friendly, helpful and attentive. We frequent this bed and breakfast in Phuket and the staff there make our stay very pleasurable. They're all so warm and helpful...that's why we come back every year...for the last 4 years. The cleaners would chat quite loudly in the morning..but still bearable since we normally wake up early. Overall..we had fun and enjoyed our stay in Buri Tara. No issues staying there again on our next trip to Krabi.

Near to the beach and staff was so friendly.Posted May 24, 2014
It was an amazing trip even though there not much nightlife but the beaches at the islands are extraordinary and the foods makes it a complete trip to be remembered.

A very nice hotel, close to the beach.Posted Mar 27, 2014
The hotel is located in a nice quiet area and also near to lots of amenities. Just a slow walk will get you to food stalls, shops and to Ao Nang beach. Scooters are up for rent which cost only THB 200 for 24hrs. We took the pool access room which was very much worth it. Long story short, much recommended indeed!

Relaxing VacationPosted Mar 24, 2014
Pros: Comfortable bed and clean sheets.
Cons: To educate Front Desk staff to be more knowledgeable on the island facilities, i.e where to get Muslim food, where to buy souvenirs, etc
Location: The hotel is 10 minutes walk to Aonang beach. You can book the tours from the travel booth just across the street for cheaper rate.
Krabi is a wonderful place to go for vacation with your family. It is safe and PG rated compared to Puket.

friendly staff, close to beachPosted Mar 21, 2014
Booked a pool access room, definitely a plus point. Room was average, thought it would be bigger. Clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. If you're on a budget, Buri Tara is a good choice. Close to amenities and beach, although we hired a motorbike so it was easy to get around anyway.

Comfortable and nice hotel.Posted Feb 24, 2014
Pros: The room is clean and friendly staff.
Cons: The bad smell near the reception counter should be rectify. It gives unpleasant smell to the guest who sits at the lobby.
Location: Just 10 to 15 minutes to go to the beach. Many shops and mini market nearby the hotel. We also booked our ground package near the hotel.
Stay only 1 night instead of 3 nights due to technical error make by the hotel staff. However, they upgraded me to another hotel, Aonang Buri Resort which is much nearer to the beach and was given complimentary breakfast throughout my stay. Many halal restaurant along the road.
