“Excellant hotel.”

Very nice hotel in pleasant, quiet grounds. Lovely swimming pool & lounging areas. AuNang village only 10 minute walk away ( or 20 BHT per person Tuk Tuk ride from outside hotel if your feeling lazy) & the beach & long tailed boats are all there for trips to the Islands etc. The hotel staff are very accommodating, especially 'Ohn' (?) the Manager who is very much on the ball & most helpful. Breakfast is good with the usual Buffett plus a good egg station for omelettes etc. Altogether a good hotel, away from the street noise & markets of AuNang but close enough to use the many good local restaurants, beach etc if you want. We would certainly use this hotel again.

“Great family escape”

The hotel was wonderful. The staff was extremely helpful and an enjoyable place with young children. Krabi itself is gorgeous but the hotel experience made it much better. Highly recommend.

“I stayed here in Oct 08”

The only minor set back is that there are no lifts. Not a problem when you arrive or leave as the bell boys collects and delivers your bags for 20 bat tip. After you've had a few sherbit's another matter though. Don't use the hotel phone megga dear... breakfast was first class and all the staff were very friendly & helpful.

A most pleasant and relaxing holiday. Very minor point: could do with more coat hangers in the rooms.

“Good Hotel With Some Room For Improvement”

The hotel was set in lovely gardens and had friendly attentive staff. Our room was spacious with a modern bathroom suite and thoroughly cleaned every day The aircon was quiet and efficient. The breakfast buffet was extensive and good quality. We did not have any other meals. On the negative side there was a slight smell of drains/sewage in our room for about an hour or so on 3 or 4 days and the poolside beds and umbrellas are a bit old and heavy and need replacing. On the whole a good hotel

“Good Clean Hotel For the Price”

Excellent Value for money to stay at this hotel, it is a little tired and runned down, but I have no complaints except that the beds are extremley hard and the road down to the the main beach is no good if you have kids, we went in and out of the hotel by tuk tuk. I would stay again without kids

“Nice, But Too Far From the Beach”

In many ways the Krabi Thai Village Resort was quite nice. The room was large, clean, and fairly comfortable. Having a flower placed on the bed after the room was made up each day was a nice touch. The pool and grounds were were lovely. The television, however, came from a different era. It was very small with an extremely limited selection of English language channels. For my wife and me, its location presented the biggest problem. It was about a twenty minute walk from the hotel to the beach. Under normal circumstances this would not be much of a problem. However, when returning after a morning at the beach and lunch, we found the walk in the early afternoon heat to be a bit much. The same walk in the evening from the restaurants along the water did not present a problem. The staff was efficient and helpful. However, overall it lacked the warmth we found in other Thai hotels. In summary, I would recommend this hotel to those who plan to use it as a base for going on tours and trips. However, if you plan to spend a great deal of time on the beach at Ao Nang, you may want to try a hotel that it a bit closer.
