Quite far from all things but great for relaxationPosted Apr 30, 2014
Pros: quite and good facilities
Cons: a few more drinks in the bar fridge! Room service need to pay a bit more attention with tea and coffe refills and toiletries, we had to ask a few time
Location: We took long beach walks, hotel not really near any thing you can hire motorbikes or a car but we didn't mind as is was a relaxing holiday.
we booked a pool suite for 4 nights and it was fine. Limited dining and room service options as this was low period. They offer Friday and Monday complimentary tours which was great and an unexpected surprise. The drive ended up being the receptionist as the driver failed to show up. All in all great relaxing stay, would revisit.

Guest ExperiencePosted Dec 21, 2012
Pros: Comfortable bed & pillows.
Cons: Not much activities. In house movies are in Thai, should have more American/ English version.
Location: Too far from town or Aonang area. Need to hv own transport otherwise Too expensive to pay the hotel transport.
We r pleased with the warm hospitality of your entire staff. Would have been nice if Resort can offer free shuttle to town Area or Aonang as the resort is too far from the shopping area.

Escape from real life!Posted Nov 25, 2012
The property is far away from downtown. There is nothing fancy place near the hotel. There is private beach right front of the hotel 50 meter from your room! Very quiet and beautiful. Also staffs are very friendly and kind. I definetly recommend this hotel.

DissappointingPosted Mar 17, 2012
Cons: Restaurant dirty and full of flies. English breakfast consists of nothing more than toast and jam, yoghurt. pineapple and watermelon covered in flies.
Location: Peaceful as there is absolutely nothing to do.
The beach you see in the photo is not actually the beach in front of the hotel rather an imported bit of sand held up by a retaining wall and now used more for kitty litter. The actual beach is a very dissappointing muddy beach. The photos on the website must have been taken when the hotel was first built straight after the tsunami about 10 years ago. The restaurant is discusting and there are flies everywhere, however we stumbled across a fantastic restaurant relatively new about 1 km down the road. This is what saved our trip or we would have checked out as the food is practically inedible at the hotel. Definately would not reccommend.

Quite and calmPosted Mar 1, 2012
Pros: Food and the long walks by the beach. Hotel provides you a free bike which you can ride in to the village .
Cons: There was no Entertainment
Location: Very far from the town, around hour and a half.
Its a beautiful hotel but very far away from the town and entertainment. As a solo traveller I will highly recommend this hotel for budget honeymooners or couple who are looking for quite and quality time. Not good for kids because there are nothing to entertain your kids with. Hotel manager Ismail and May they were great people and they were very helpful. Its a very quite village but very safe to go around. You cant snorkel in the beach but you can take very long relaxing walks its beautiful. Thank you

When you need to escape...Posted Nov 12, 2011
Nantra de Deluxe is your place. It is located about 35 minutes from the airport, nestled among loads of palm trees, open fields and friendly, friendly people. This is not the place to go if you need to get out and *do something* (i.e. nightlife, shopping, etc.) but if what you want to do is relax in a quiet atmosphere, with a semi-private beach, a pool, a masseuse, and some bicycles, this is it. The staff are incredibly attentive, the food is excellent and the atmosphere is simple and clean. I am already planning my next visit.

Beautiful resort but nothing to do there and too far from anything.Posted Oct 7, 2008
The hotel was lovely and if you want a trip where you don't meet anyone or do anything but read or watch movies its the place for you. It's miles from anywhere and the menu in the 'restaurant' is limited. If you land in Krabi make sure the hotel collect you from the airport otherwise it'll take you days to find it!! Literally it took me 4 days to get there from the airport!!

Our 5 Day Stay at Nantra DeluxePosted Sep 22, 2008
Hotel was about 1 hours drive from Krabi Airport located in a Rural Religous Village. We had a suite with a plunge pool. It looked good and was comfortable, but things like not having anywhere to sit in the suite other than the bed and the toilet let it down. We stayed 5 days and the ran out most items on the menu on our 4th day. Unfortunately, not much English was spoken which made it difficult, but the staff were friendly. I think in a couple of years once they can afford more furniture, the resort should be better. We sat by the pool for the whole stay which was our intention, but if you dont like lying by pools, maybe consider somewhere more central. There are no shops, sight seeing etc to amuse yourself if you get bored easily.

beautiful and tranquil hotelPosted Aug 23, 2008 on Hotels.com
very good service: very friendly and helpful. Amenities were at a high standard, really enjoyed my stay at this beautiful hotel. lovely food and scenary as we ate outside for breakfast. Although people need to be aware of the quite remote location of the hotel, but great place to get away and relax. The hotel even offers complimentary transfers into Krabi town and sightseeing tours so very good value for money.
