Great Place

Posted Jul 22, 2014
We arrived on Ao Nang with no where to stay and found this place. We paid full price for two nights Bed and Breakfast in a standard room and they upgraded us straight away to a superior room. The room was huge! It was comfortable and clean. We left Ao Nang to travel up to Koh Samui and we booked this place again for another night on the Expedia App. We decided later to book a second night a few days later. We returned 6 days later for our standard room for around £50. At check in they remembered us and after explaining that we had two separate bookings, the upgraded us to a superior cottage which was amazing! They told us that we would have to move rooms but when we checked the next morning, it was no problem and they let us keep the cottage. This place is set slightly back from the busy Main Street in Ao Nang and has a great pool.

Stay in the Standard Room

Posted Jul 15, 2014
Love: Service is good! Resort location is beautiful, Krabi limestone cliffs infront of my room! Walking distance to Aonang shops and restaurants but definitely not noisy. Dislike: Swimming pool is small. Room is a bit of run down. Bathtub is dirty.

Peaceful stay

Posted May 18, 2014
We had a wonderful stay at Peace Laguna. We had originally booked a superior cottage but decided to upgrade to a private cottage at check in. Was well worth it for the view of the beautiful lagoon and the private balcony with sunbeds. There are 3 swimming pools, only 1 of which we used which was the main pool by the lobby. This was clean and tidy and sunbeds kept well. The other pools didn't look as nice, sunbeds need replacing. The general finding of the hotel and rooms is that it has the potential to be exceptional. It is very peaceful and the view of the lagoon with the mountain as a backdrop is just stunning. However the rooms and other pools could do with a bit of TLC, the bed was very hard and they could do with touching up a few things in the room. However after saying that these are things we overlooked after the first day as everything else was just perfect. 2 minute walk to the beach and the main strip of restaurants and shops. Breakfast had a good variety. Complimentary afternoon tea was an added bonus. We generally had the pool to ourselves as it was very quiet, most other guests seemed to be out most of the day. We loved our stay and would return.

Great hotel overall, excellent breakfast buffet

Posted May 12, 2014
Pros: Staff was very friendly and professional, good service overall. Breakfast buffet was excellent! Rooms clean and well maintained, two pools.
Cons: Internet connection unstable and not fast enough - must be improved significantly for business people.
Location: Location was great, very close to Ao Nang Beach and main road. The hotel property is beautiful, with a lake and two pools.
I would recommend this hotel. Overall it was excellent, staff friendly and helpful, rooms clean and everything you need. It is very calm in the night and beds are very good. The breakfast buffet is huge and excellent. There two nice pools but Ao Nang beach and the other beaches are very close or can be reached via long tail boat easily. Just the internet is not sufficient, this needs to be improved. There is free WIFI in the lobby area though, pretty quick.

Peace Laguna Resort

Posted May 5, 2014
Pros: the resort is big, nice view and quite
Cons: Room services & personnel must know how to deal with customers and they should learn how to speak english as they were dealing w/foreigners too.
Location: Near to stores, restaurants and beach
We stayed in this resort for 3D/2N 25-27 April 2014. We arrived at 3:00pm in the Hotel and we were very tired as we had our activities for the day and we want to take some rest but unfortunately when we arrived in the reserved room for us, the Electricity was down, the bed was not the Single double bed as we had requested, the floor was sticky and no wifi in the hotel room.(they must check the room first before they let customers to use it) I reported the issues and asked the hotel receptionist if they can move us to a new room but they said all were fully booked. They fixed the room electricity for almost hour and the worst part it was happened again the following day(electricity down). It was really dissapointing. But to have a positive view the resort is big and has a nice cliff view and quite. the hotel is near to stores, restaurant and beach. Their Complimentary buffet breakfast was good and many choices.

Convenient

Posted May 3, 2014
Pros: It is conveniently located. Lots of eating places just outside the hotel. The beach is also just a short walk away.Hotel was good.
Cons: We had the superior room, the room was very spacious about 50sqm. Think it was too spacious that it look that there wasn't enough furniture in it.
Location: We rented a motorbike and went to Krabi town for the night market and also went the Tiger Cave Temple. Climbed the 1237 steps to the top.
Overall good expereince. The hotel facilties were adequate. It has 3 swimming pools so we could choose one that was least occupied. The breakfast was okay however we would have like it to have more choices epecially local food.. The room was clean. Although it would have been more conevenient if the room had wifi instead of just at the lobby area.

Peaceful Hotel!

Posted Apr 6, 2014
Pros: Peaceful with no town/city noise, very near Ao Nang beach via a rear gate and a picturesque tall cliff as its background.
Location: Near the beach, restaurants, a Starbucks, a McDonald's, food stalls, pharmacies, 7-11 and shops where you can book tours and adventure activities.
As the name implied, Peace Laguna Resort is really a peaceful hotel. Most hotels are located by the roadside and can be affected by noise at times (e.g. pick-up trucks blasting promotions on loudspeakers) but not at this hotel. The staff were nice and helpful when in need of assistance. I'm not sure about the food because I prefer cheaper street food than a hotel food. Rooms and the bathroom are good, clean and comfortable. I'm very pleased that the hotel has a rear gate that basically cut short your walking distance to the beach to less than 5 mins, unlike walking along the main road. There's also complimentary afternoon tea with cookies or muffins at around 4 p.m. The hotel is located very near to shops, restaurants, etc. Especially a Starbucks outlet. Overall, I'm happy with the hotel and will come back again. Definite recommended hotel. *Disclaimer* Experiences may vary from individuals' preferences. Thank you.
