The hotel itself is amazing. The pool, rooms, balcony - just great. However, we booked the for New Year's Eve and a couple of days after. After it was booked I got an e-mail confirmation which clearly stated that Gala Dinner is included. We came to hotel late, when Gala dinner was supposed to start after an hour. To our question about Gala Dinner the reception says - it is not included. I show the e-mail, they nod but still say it cannot be included. Their argument: "Gala Dinner is xx per person, it cannot be covered by just your room price (showing us some calculations)". Well, is it my problem, that their numbers do not add up? Their solution to the problem? "You should call Expedia to refund your Gala Dinner". I don't know if it is us who are supposed to call Expedia? But I get a feeling that hotel should settle their problems. I agreed to call Expedia myself. It was an hour long call. The Expedia rep has put me on a long hold to check the details and to talk to hotel herself. After this, she says that the Gala Dinner is indeed included and it is settled with the hotel. So we went to reception to get our Dinner . The manager disagrees and to our question who talked to Expedia rep he said he does not know. After long, sad conversation I call Expedia again, we find the person to whom Expedia talked and get our coupons (took us 3 hr). I NEVER saw such communication issues. Supervisor agreed with Expedia, did not tell anyone at reception and left to do some other stuff? Wow!
