“Definately a place to stay”

This hotel provided all that we needed for a much needed rest after our Asian tour. The hotel location was scenic with an extraordinary view of daily sunsets. The hotel grounds were beautiful with a large infinity pool and swim up bar. The staff were professional and friendly. The grounds were well cared for and rooms exceptionally clean. The food was varied and excellent with a grand buffet breakfast featuring western and eastern selection of foods.

“Would love to go back”

This accomodation is of world class. Staff were very helpful with friendly service. No request appeared to be a problem. Staff would offer suggestions if you could not make up your mind which was refreshing as there was never any dissapointment. All very professional. Well equipped with great ammenities.

The hotel was all we had expected. The swimming pool was fantastic. The staff were fantastic, helpful, efficient and always smiling. We ate in the three restaurants that were open and all were top class. The golf course was great and quite tricky considering it was only a small area. All round a very relaxing, enjoyable experience and we would return anytime.

“Good hotel. if a little isolated”

Great pool. Very well maintained building and grounds. Staff very helpful. Food was disappointing - bland and expensive. Hotel is quite isolated - it is a fair walk to any local shops/amenities, although there is a hotel shuttle. Sham about the quarry and pier that come into view just as you're admiring the hotel. However, this did not cause any disturbance.

Beautiful setting and grounds. Highly attentive and genuine staff contribute to a very relaxing stay. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for high levels of luxury. Would love to return.

“A Relaxing Hotel”

We had a wonderful stay. The staff is exceptional. The restaurants serve wonderful food and the atmosphere in each is perfect. The spa was a great place to relax and had a very well trained staff. The only drawbacks to the hotel are its lack of a good beach (but the pool is very nice) and the fact that the golf course is only a par three nine hole course.

“Simply Awesome”

Really great hotel bascially. Nice, spacious, well appointed rooms, hotel ameneties good, several restaurants, bars all in a really nice relaxed collonial feel. Biggest pool in Thailand and it is darn big, we never felt anything other than we had the whole thing to ourselves. Staff are all extremely helpful, although a few mistakes were made here and there but only small things. Food was fantastic all round and the breakfast buffet was probably the best we've ever had. Go on the Hong Island day trip its much better than the Phi Phi cattle drive. In summary, Fantastic.

“Paradise”

I only have good things to say about this hotel. Its a beautiful hotel and the rooms very spacious and comfortable. The staff are excellent. We were lucky to have a suite which includes direct access to the pool from the balcony. The pool chairs can be busy at times so having a private balcony next to the pool was very nice. My only complaints about this hotel would be that the beach is not so nice but if you are a pool person you will not mind since the hotel swimming pool is huge, it might be the largest pool I have ever seen. Also the hotel organizes trips to Hong Island which is a 12 minute boat ride away and the beaches there are beautiful. Also the beach is separated from the hotel by a highway which is a small annoyance when going to the beach. The hotel does not have wireless Internet in the room but has wired Internet but it is expensive to use. The lobby does have wireless Internet but it is chargeable and expensive. The hotel provides 3 computers in the business lounge and the Internet can be used for free but there is often people using those computers so you need to wait.

“Good”

We were slightly concerned about the location but found it to be good. In general the area is quite but there are a few Thai restaurants within a short walking distance if you do not want to be stuck with the hotel fayre which is expensive by Thai standards. In general a good 4+ star hotel which I would have no worries about recommending.

“amazing pool”

We stayed over Christmas 2010 for 4 nights. The pool was absolutely amazing, we didn't miss the beach at all. We had dinner in the Thai restaurant on Christmas eve and it was very good, we were overlooking the main party so felt part of it. The other evenings we wandered down the road and ate at a couple of local restaurants, very cheap and very acceptable. The spa was beautiful, I had a manicure and pedicure, it was a great experience. I would definitely reccommend this hotel.
