아름다운 호텔

Pros: 투숙객의 요청을 적극적으로 들어주는 자세가 마음에 들었다.
Cons: 직원들이 투숙객과 마주쳤을때 먼저 웃는다거나 하는 친절함이 없어서 아쉬웠다.
Location: 홍성 투어를 추천한다.
부모님 결혼 50주년을 맞이해서 떠났던 가족 여행이었다. 미리 이메일로 룸에 간단한 꽃장식을 부탁했었는데 추가 비용 없이 꽃장식과 작은 케잌을 준비해 주었다. 조식도 맛있었고 여러가지로 만족스러운 곳이었다.

We were disappointed with this hotel, because it was misrepresented 5 star. It was more of a 3.5. The television was antiquated. Thr mattress was hard. The hotel needs to be revamped. The beach was accross the street not on the actual hotel and that was a huge disappointment. To make matters worse it wasn't the nicest beach either. We felt that we paid way too much money for our stay at the Sofitel.

Comfortable and Quiet Stay

Pros: The pool was spectacular.
Cons: Better informed reception staff, e.g. we had negative answers regarding complimentary laundry until we showed them the list given to us.
We upgraded to a suite. It was comfortable and had a good view of the grounds and the sea. Service was normal and the club facilitates were average. Our stay was generally comfortable and quiet.

Nice hotel with huge swimming pool

Pros: Great swimming pool, large well decorated rooms, nice staff.
Cons: Prices of beverages (fresh juice, coffee, wine, beer etc.) too high, mainly European breakfast.
Location: Location is too far from Ao Nang to walk. Some restaurants close by, especially Mothers House: fantastic food for a reasonable price.
Great hotel with large swimming pool.

Komfortables Hotel mit Golfanlage

Pros: - die ruhige Lage des Hotels - der Golfplatz direkt neben dem Hotel - die komfortable Ausstattung - das allzeit hilfsbereite Personal
Location: Das Hotel ist ca.15 km entfernt vom Ao Nang Beach. Dort gibt es massenweise Restaurants und Bars und Buchungsmöglichkeiten für Ausflüge.
Das Hotel entsprach genau meinen Vorstellungen: abseits vom Massentourismus; Golfplatz direkt neben dem Hotel. Ausflüge konnte man direkt über das Hotel buchen oder in Ao Nang.

Just ok

Pros: Nothing really blow us away. This that were good we're just good.
Cons: The pool needs a full overhaul, there are so many tiles missing and can easily cut any persona, in our case our little boy had a long scratch on leg

It's an OK hotel, the rate we got with Expedia was so great we decided to go for it. We didn't have a good weather during our stay so we couldn't use the beach which is just crossing the street.

Expensive lousy food. Great hotel for kids, Nice playground. Good pool To far from everything, And hotel taxi are very expensive

Hôtel spécialisé dans le 3ieme âge ...

Pros: rien , le fait de payer n'est pas le problème en soit , mais je déteste être pris en otage et pour un imbécile
Cons: le personnel est charmant , tout le reste est à revoir d'URGENCE !!!
Location: nul , au milieu de nulle part ...
Nous sommes 2 familles avec enfants de 5 à 14 ans et quelle déception !! il est incroyable que le Sofitel est investi dans un endroit comme celui la , loin de tout ! (village le plus proche Aonang , 1000 baths aller/retour , 25 mn de touk touk) plage Nulle , sans aménagements d'une largeur de moins de 2 mètres à marée haute et pleine de cailloux à marée basse avec route à traverser en plus ! Magnifique piscine (surtout si l'on aime contempler les cars , camions pétaradants et autres motos bruyantes qui passent 5 mètres devant entre la mer et l'hôtel) , une Animation Extraordinaire , vous avez le choix un matin sur deux à 1 heure de yoga ou de taî-chi mais à 7.30h !! (ben oui dés fois que les clients voudraient dormir ..) ensuite rien jusqu'a 11.30h , ou là miracle ! 1h de cours d'aqua gym !! qui dure en réalité 30mn et se compose de 5 série de mouvements qui ont bien fait rire notre amie professeur de fitness puis , plus rien ..Non , je suis injuste ! vous pouvez avoir un cours de tir à l'arc (500 baths , vieux arcs que l'on sort et que l'on range religieusement avant et après , ben oui dés fois que les clients voudraient s'en servir sans payer ..) ou alors boxe thaï (avec la un vrai compliment , le seul , au prof ,SLIM , super pro et extrèmement agréable !!) 500 baths aussi , ou cours de cuisine 1500 baths , le Top c'est le GOLF que je conseille à tous les golfeurs qui recherchent celui le plus mal tenu au monde ! vous avez trouvé : SOFITEL PHOKEETHRA bravo et adieu !

Excellent hotel, but a bit out of the way

Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Spacious garden & huge pool which allows everybody to find his favorite spot to relax. Perfect place for relaxation.
Cons: what is missing, is a complimentory shuttle service to the next shopping and restaurant area. TV in the rooms are old fashioned & need to be replaced.
Location: Hotel is quite some distance from the next village, shops and restaurants. The street which separates hotel from beach is quite busy, even at night.
We (a family of 3) stayed 4 nights at this hotel and enjoyed it very much. Even it is a bit outside from everything it is a perfect place to relax. As we stayed during the world cup semi finals the hotel staff arranged for us a possibility to watch Brazil vs. Germany at the Hemingway room at 3:00 am in the morning, as TV reception of the game in the room was not possible.
