Clean & friendly hotelPosted Dec 12, 2013
we stayed in a Larger room for 2 adult + 3 kids. The Room is very spacious, and enough for kids to run about, just that the Air-con was too strong that always blew on our face when sleep. We cannot adjust the position at all. Overall it is very good,

Great resort close to the beachPosted Oct 29, 2013
Pros: rooms were refreshed daily, every single staff member was a pleasure to deal with, food was delicious, location was fantastic - best resort in Ao Nang
Cons: the only thing in way of improvement was to add balconies but this is building related... Also room service is not 24 hours as advertised...
Location: walking distance to all Ao Nang shopping and restaurants and only a short scooter ride away from Tub Taek and everything in between...
From arrival to departure this resort was a pleasure! Have not met staff so pleasant and attentive in a long time. Room was clean and stayed that way throughout. We had a slight mishap with an overflowing toilet (!!) but it was fixed and cleaned up immediately. We did want to stay in one night and order room service but when we called they said it finished at 10pm so that was a little disappointing... but all in all I would definitely recommend the L resort. I would recommend you stay in the "Large" room or bigger - we had a look at the bungalows and they are quite small BUT depends on the individual. You can hear the distant sounds of the street but it did not bother us at all. The iPads that were provided by the resort in the rooms was a great addition. Pool is clean and well maintained. Tried quite a few different dishes on the menu and non disappointed - delicious!

great resortPosted Aug 16, 2013
Pros: Swimming pools
The L Resort was absolutely sensational. The professionalism of the staff was second to none , help full and courteous. It rained heavily on our arrival to the resort, and a fair bit of flooding occurred outside our bungalow(which was clean and well laid out), some water entered into the room, the management upgrades us to the lighter room. It was a great room, and it was greatly appreciated. I would have no problems recommending this resort!!!

Rainy days never gets you down at The L Resort.Posted Aug 11, 2013
Pros: The staff, the food (daily buffet breakfast) and the in-room Crema Coffee Machine - oh, not forgetting the little chalets too!
Cons: The noisy (singing) bull frogs (and the poor TV reception - maybe due to bad weather)
Location: Perfectly housed smacked centre the famous Aonang beach town facing the lovely beach - with easy access to Eateries, 7-eleven, Massage & Spa, Pubs etc
Our second trip to Krabi was once again met with rain - but our stay at The L Resort made this horrible weather a secondary issue. From the moment of check in, the smiles and the refreshing welcome drink of soda and red dragon fruit, you can fill the warmth of this resort. We loved the little chalets, and the in-room Crema Coffee Machine was a dream come true for a coffee-lover like me. My son enjoyed the pool and the simple yet delicious breakfast we had daily - as he says, this made up for the so so TV reception due to the bad weather (kids and their need for TV). The Staff were courteous, and accommodating. The best part - its smack centre of Aonang Town Centre, with the famous Aonang Beach right in front of the lobby - and eating out and going for Krabi's well-known massages were not deterred by the rain. Even when my hubby had to go back early to see to his dad who was ill, the staff were quick to see to our needs, even suggestion a change in room/chalet nearer the main block, so that my son and I could feel more secured as we couldn't get flights changed. If you ask me, I'd go back again - and maybe this time, try their Large or Larger Suites ;-). Thank you The L Resort - we'll definitely be back. A special shout out to Ms. Juntra/Jenny (Snr Guests Services Manager), Ms. Nawarat (Guest Services), The Gentlemen that picked us up (Bell services) & Ms Thanawan (Housekeeping) - their are The L Resorts gems that truly shine and maketh your day all better ;-)

Room is overpriced compare to similar rating roomsPosted Aug 4, 2013
Pros: There is docking station for iPhone to play music in room
Cons: Some staff can't understand English well, breakfast less choices
Location: Very good, in front of beach and in the same road of busy shops
Reception is well maintained but room is disappointed. Pictures are for big room. Standard room just like a budget hotel. Not worth for the price because way expensive then other hotel. Some staff can't understand English, including receptionist. They don't understand what is "newspaper " in English, I have to use google translate to translate to Thai . From room call to request for something, promise to deliver to room in a while but no shadow at all. Ask from reception, she promised to deliver to room next day morning, but we didn't receive it. Breakfast was less choices, but omelet is nice. Salad bar is satisfying. Free wifi is good and fast, despite sometimes will have no signal.

Overall Nice :-)Posted Jul 24, 2013
Pros: There is a coffee machine in the room.
Cons: Maybe the bed not suitable to me
Location: Strategic location
First experience with The L, it is little bit more than expectation. When I read the review before I book, there are some minor complaint. Therefore I did not go with very high expectation. But it turn out to be more than what I expect. It is locate in a very strategic location. It is operate for some time, there are some wear and tear but overall still well maintain. Friendly and helpful staff. They gave lot of helpful information.

Great locationPosted Jul 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
I booked the 2-bedroom L-suite, located just above the lobby and facing the beach. It was excellent! Spacious, quiet and clean. Breakfast buffet did not have many selection but whatever they had, it tasted fantastic! Hotel location is awesome! Just across from the beach with plenty of restaurants and street stalls nearby.

Good Resort, Getting BetterPosted Apr 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
The L Resort is definitely one of the more high-end resorts in the area. The bungalows need some renovations which according to the manager will be taking place soon. The Thai receptionists are very nice but not the best informed. The manager Mike however is there almost every day and is really a pleasure to work with (he gave us a 4pm checkout!)

My review of the LPosted Apr 8, 2013
Pros: Clean, Modern, comfortable, and excellant location. Friendly staff with a big smile from everyone.
Cons: It is a bit of walking from reception to the bungalows
Location: Perfect location at the mid of AoNang beach
We were told by manager upon arrival that we have been upgraded. my comments would be on the provided room that was spacious, very modern design, having all amneties and very clean. clean, modern and confortable bath room, king bed, very comfortable. The reception staff are very friendly and always ready to assist whether in information or anything requested. We stayed for 2 nights and the stay was great. I strongly recommend this establishment for people who are looking for service and good hospitability. The location of the hotel is perfect as it is among few who are directly on the beach and near the boats to go to the islands. I just find the price to be a bit on the high side for Thailand, but it seems all the prices in Thailand are getting to be on the high side, particularly in beach areas. I strongly recommend this hotel, and definitely will make a reservation there, if I am in Krabi again.

Awesome location, awesome staff, awesome pool.Posted Apr 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
Avoid the bungalow rooms if you are sensitive to noise or mosquitos here and there. The hotel staff was very nice about upgrading us to the Large rooms, which were excellent (noise free and no issues). The location of the hotel is just perfect, across the street from the beach and next door to all restaurants and night life.
