Value resort on Koh LantaPosted Jul 20, 2013
Cons: internet access
Location: elephant trek, excursion to nearby islands
John, the resident manager was great, very responsive, addressed our needs immediately. The staff overall were very good as well. We were here during their off season so there was a lot of maintenance, upkeep and improvements going on. A good sign that the resort is maintaining their property. We paid <$40/night for a family room and this included breakfast, internet and 4 bottles of water per day. Accommodations are rustic as is the property, the rate reflects this. It's situated in the middle of the bay so the water was very calm. It's also beach side so you step out of your room and 25 meters later, you're on the sand. Internet was patchy, probably due to congestion since early morning hours up until 7am, it was easily accessible and fast. Otherwise, it was difficult to connect though router signal was strong. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here.

Rustic getaway at beautiful beach setting!Posted May 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
Service was good and helpful. Nothing fancy about the place & this was off season so no real meals were available. An island rustic getaway which I didn't realize until we arrived but it was a convenient location & we enjoyed our stay!

nice location, comfortable, good valuePosted Apr 10, 2013
Pros: bayfront location
Cons: It's a shame the locals don't keep adjacent public beachfront block clean and tidy
Location: Quiet with a lovely outlook yet relatively close to the markets, restaurants and shops of Saladan
Great location, well run and maintained, friendly smiling staff, spacious clean room with very effective a/c, excellent internet (unlike our accommodation in Krabi!) and good value for money. Nice pool, ideal for kids. If you are looking for gold taps and marble in bathrooms, raging nightlife or expensive dining room then stay at one of the 5 star resorts. We thought Twin Bay was ideal, ended up staying for nearly 3 weeks and would definitely stay here again if we return to Ko Lanta.

Too beautiful to resist.Posted Apr 6, 2013
Pros: Staffs, comfort of the room and its right in front the beach! Paradise!
Location: It's 2 hours journey from the Krabi airport and we need to use 2 ferries to reach Koh Lanta.
Had the best vacation up to date at Koh Lanta and staying at Twin Bay Resort! I never expect it to be so awesome and the deal from Expedia was really cheap and affordable! Thank you Expedia for such a great deal! Me and my friends had the time of our life. Beautiful resort, beautiful beaches, beautiful small town and super duper nice locals! Koh Lanta, I'll be back! :D

Great hotel for a beach break for familiiesPosted Jan 30, 2013
I really enjoyed our stay at this resort. The food at the restaurant was great and the service was fantastic with very attentive waiters, particularly in the restaurant. The pool was clean and only a couple of steps across to the beach. The bar closed very early on a couple of evenings which was disappointing, especially as we had been told that it would always be open if the guests needed it to be. I thought that it was particularly good value for money and would definitely go again.

Excellent small, intimate resort!Posted Dec 17, 2012
Small, intimate resort. Excellent location on the far northwest corner of Koh Lanta, with great views on both sides. The beachfront rooms are as advertised, 20 feet from the water at high tide. The staff were extremely helpful in making sure our stay is enjoyable.

Quiet and beautifulPosted Nov 20, 2011
Location: Ko Rok trip was lovely; a must do from Ko Lanta.
Located at the quiet end of Khlong Dao Beach, Twin Bay is quiet and relaxing. Perfect for the beach (great for running) and you can access other hotels, bars and restaurants within 30min beach walk. The pier restaurants and markets are a short tuktuk ride away (50 baht pp one way though, which is quite steep in local terms). Room was comfortable and the hotel grounds are pretty. Breakfast was fairly basic compared to most Thai standards, but sufficient. We only ate a the restaurant once, as the western food wasn't great. Should have known to order Thai though! Would recommend.

lowkey hotel on a quiet beachPosted Oct 22, 2011
My boyfriend and I stayed here for 6 nights on our recent trip to Thailand. We had originally booked only 3 nights and extended because we loved it so much. THis is a very quiet area and we shared the hotel with only about 6 other guests at a time. We visited during low season so things were really slow and quiet on most of the island. The pool and beach are perfect and the restaurant and bar as well. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to rent motorbikes directly from the hotel. Would reccommend this place to couples and families looking for a quiet place to stay, but not for those looking to party or meet new people as it's out of the way and not a happening place.

Will stay here again next timePosted Sep 27, 2011
I stayed in an ocean view room, where I can see the sea from our bed. Thai foods are delicious and fresh.
