Rustic luxury

Posted Jan 12, 2014
Pros: Setting, rooms, spa, breakfast, day trips. Rustic touches like the outdoor shower and the nightly gift.
Cons: The staff was extremely friendly but could do a better job of anticipating guests' needs.
Location: Great day trips and good diving. The main beach does unfortunately get crowded during the day with day trippers coming in.
We had a very enjoyable stay at Zeavola. The bungalows gave us a taste of comfortable yet rustic beach living. Good amenities - spa, pool, diving. Great breakfast and cuisine in general. Key area for improvement is in staff alertness - while the service was friendly, it could at times be slow and require prompting.

Good Option

Probably the best on Island, but it is pricey when compared to other properties. Far from the backpackers part of the Island, hence a more tranquil experience and probably not the place for those who want to party.

A Paradise in Phi Phi Paradise

Posted Sep 30, 2013
Pros: Every single aspect
Cons: None
Location: Being located in the middle of the Phi Phi forrest and just steps from the beach makes this place a pearl in the middle of the island.
We arrived here with lot of expectations from our previous amazing days in Saigon. Zeavola was perfect from the beginning to the end in every single detail. Everything was incredible starting for the great welcome with Rosella Juice. next, the Zeavola staff had perfectly prepared for us, starting with Noemi who spoken to us in a perfect spanish making all our stay easier, taking care of every single issue we could have (We actually didn't have any issues at all). The rooms were just stunning, clean and very comfortable. We loved the idea of perfect armony with the environment. The food was great at any time: breakfast, lunch and dinner, it was like dinning in a first class restaurant in Perth with very reasonable prices. The spa sessions were so relaxing in hands of experts in the matter, and finally all the great activities they have to live a real enjoyable experience in this paradaise of nature. The sad moment was whenwe had to leave. Nothing more to sayother than thank you to every single person that makes Zeavola a great place to stay.

Stunning romantic getaway!

Posted Aug 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
We recently spent two nights here at Zeavola and LOVED it! We stayed in a Garden Suite, which was set in a beautiful little hidden garden, with a private outdoor shower and bathroom separate to the sleeping area. Our accommodation was clean and comfortable. It felt very authentic and was something a bit different and special. TV wasn't great but we hardly used it anyway. Air con in the room was great. Insect repellant is a must (outside)! The location was a highlight. It was away from the busy part of Phi Phi and very peaceful and private. The sand and water were immaculate and it felt like paradise! There's a good little restaurant on the premises, where we ate lunch, but enjoyed dinner a little further down the beach (approx 400m) where we were able to eat on the sand by candlelight and enjoy live dancing and entertainment. Buffet breakfasts were lovely and being able to order your own meal made to order off the menu meant that it came out fresh. Highly recommended place to stay, we would definitely go back!!

Property do not disclosed pricey transportation

Posted Jul 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
Overall costumer service is good. But what ticked me off was the fact you have to pay 3,800 baht each person to get to the hotel and back to Phuket. There is no where in the hotel website mention the fee. This ridiculous fee makes me rethink my decision to go back to this property.

Worth the extra mile to get here!

There are not many quality choice of hotels in Koh Phi Phi but be sure to pick Zeavola. Each villa offers privacy and equipped with all the modern comfort whilst surrounded by "forest" like garden. I wish they have built additional 30cm higher of bamboo wall to cover my outdoor shower so people could not see me in my birth suit while showering. Wifi every where, great breakfast selection. Extremely friendly staff and don't even attempt to eat dinner/lunch elsewhere because other hotels' food are incomparable to Zeavola's. Worth the extra buck. Quality, quality, quality.

Great resort, but may not be for everyone...

Posted Jan 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
We had a fantastic stay at the Zeavola and were able to take in several of the activities that the resort offers. The resort is one of four on the far north of the main island, which makes it a bit remote for those looking for an active nightlife. We were not so it was perfect for us. There are few options for dinner in the vicinity, but the chef at the hotel is quite good and we never went hungry. The spa is excellent, but it is somewhat pricey. Caution! The massage offered at the resort next door offers a limited selection, and it is more reasonably priced, but you get what you pay for and the traditional Thai massage next door is practically an extreme sport itself. The beach at Zeavola is excellent and the bean bag cushions are the best idea ever. Overall the staff are very friendly and willing to go an extra mile for your every need. Great service does com at a price, but it is well worth it. One warning though is to contact the hotel in advance to set up your transfer from the airport to the resort. The transfer is not included in the room charges.
