nice hotelPosted Jun 20, 2014
Pros: location is great just 10mins from the main square and the staff were very friendly & helpful.
Cons: air con in rooms
Location: the location is just 10mins from the main square where there are plenty of coffee shops and golf buggies to take you around all the sights
when we went it was in the mid 30es there was no air con so the room was stuffy and with the windows open very noisy there was no fridge in room to keep drinks cold, but very clean and tidy, breakfast was ok but the same every day ie: bread rolls, cold meat cheese.

Excellent Location, Very Clean and Friendly StaffPosted Jun 9, 2014
Pros: Clean, Friendly and excellent location
Cons: Information regarding the check-in procedure from the agent.
Location: Main square is 10min walk, trams/buses outside the hotel. Very quiet on a Sunday in the area where the hotel is. Food and drink is very cheap.
The location is 10 min walk from the main square, the room we had was a junior suite which was very big and very clean. The reception staff are very helpful and friendly. The only thing to watch out for is the check-in reception is across the road at the Yarden Hotel. We waited 2 hours at the Abella for the reception to open and had to phone to be told it was across the road. Expedia should have told us on the booking form!

Abella 10/10Posted Mar 16, 2013
Pros: Friendliness of staff, cleanliness of room, size of room, good standard complimentary breakfast. Ideal location, quitness of rooms at night
Cons: None, the hotel 10/10
Location: 5 minute walk from main square, ideal location as within short walk of most attractions, but far enough from centre so not disturbed by noise
Right from booking our hotel we were in contact with staff to arrange our arrival time. Upon arrival we were given a choice of rooms both of which were very spacious and would comfortably fit a family of 4. I must say that the rooms were impecably clean including the bathroom. The shower facilities were also great as seemed to be a brand new power shower with endless hot water. We were greeted by Sylvia whom throughout our stay was a pleasure and happy to help where possible, she booked our trips, gave us city guide books, directions and details for trams and tips for local restaurants. We cannot thank her enough for making our stay as easy and pleasureable as possible. We were also pleased to find out there was a complimentary breakfast consisting of a choice of breads, fruit, fresh juice, yogourt and muesli, this would be delivered to our room at a time of our choosing. The hotel is a short walk from the main square and train station which was ideal. This also means on a night it is far away enough from the noise of the centre, and although there is a tram stop outside the trams do not make enough noise to wake the light like myself. Overall i would give this hotel and staff 10/10 and we will be booking this hotel again in the future.

excellent valuePosted Sep 26, 2012
Pros: the cleanliness & the eagerness of the staff to please
Cons: could use bigger soaps
Location: not romantic but really convenient
Real value for money, we had the superior rooms for very little extra. bed v comfortable, bathroom excellent but could use better soap. Coffee etc good. Breakfast considering overall price etc very good if basic. The staff, young ladies were excellent, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was within a comfortable stroll for the old square and easy walk from the jewish quater. There was problem that we did not want to check out on time, the receptionist said it was fine. Obviously one can get what one pays for but in this instant I think we got much more. The one draw back was for our friends who had an excellent room but on the front so were disturbed by early passing traffic. So what? one can sleep in when one gets home !.

If in Krakow, I will definitely go back!!Posted Sep 2, 2009
The service was so fantastic! I arrived at 10pm, way after check in time and there was someone waiting just for me. Also, they helped me book a tour to Auschwitz the very next day, which I highly recommend. The hotel itself is so convenient because it's 10 minutes away from the train station and 10 min away from the main square.
