“Take the Rough with the Smooth”

Overall a good Hotel but the convenience of the location (near the Central Square and the main tourist attractions) has to be balanced about the noise from party revellers until late at night. Difficult to sleep with the window open!

“Great Location and Friendly staff”

We stayed over Christmas. Hotel is in an excellent location in the Old Quarter about 5 mins walk to the Market Square.Staff spoke very good English and were friendly and helpful. Hotel is beautifully furnished throughout and good choice at breakfast with a hot and cold buffet. We would be happy to stay there again.

“Great Hotel in excellent location”

Hotel Amadeus is literally a stone's throw away from the huge main square of Krakow, which is the epicentre of the city. It is therefore in a perfect location. The golf buggies which tourists can hire to get round Krakow are at the end of the street. The hotel is small & very comfortable. It is quite atmospheric too. I would say the bedroom's layout was a litlle strange, but the ensuite bathroom was excellent. The breakfatss were extremely good, & the service generally was friendly and very helpful. Excursions to eg., Auschwitz or the nearby salt mines are easily organised by the reception. There is no swimming pool or spa. Overall, an excellent place to stay for a long weekend.

“Excellent Location”

Stayed at this hotel for 6 nights on bed and breakfast. Couldn't wish for a better location Just a short walk to the main square. A bit disappointed with the breakfast - Missed our toast in the morning. Would have liked a lounge area in the hotel and a few more English television programmes.

“Great Hotel”

Whilst we had a great time in Krakow and the hotel was beautiful and very centrally located, the surrounding area was very noisy but we do appreciate that this is often the case when staying in a city centre hotel. The Amadaus is very elegant and tastefully decorated. The staff are very helpful and friendly with good english. Our room was very nice with a lovely bathroom. TV not up to much but that is not uncommon in Europe. Overall we would give this hotel a big "Thumbs Up".

“Well lopcated comfortable hotel”

The Amadeus scores highly on location just a few minutes from the main square. Despite being on the corner of a street it was quiet at night. The room was a reasonable size with a good shower though no bath. Comfortable bed, but no armchair. The main lack in the hotel is any lounge area and the bar is very small with just bar stools. Not really a problem as there is a huge choice of bars and cafes close by. There is free internet service downstairs. Good breakfast included in the room price. Overall a good choice in the old town if you want to be central. Close to the station too for train to airport or other places.

“Best location ansd nice with it”

This hotel is 100 metres for the main squre - a Great location. The room was spacious and very clean. Beautiful bathroom. It has a very good restaurant with a fixed price two course excellent value lunch. Breakfast was good without being extensive - ask for freshly brewed coffee. The bar however was very small with only half a dozen bar stools. Reception small but very efficient and pleasant
