“excellent. will go back”

Excellent business hotel, new modern, clean, good service. Next to big shopping mall with excellent cheap food court. Can't go wrong.

“Decent price, place to visit Cracow”

Easy location right across from the train station. Close walking distance to old town and tram to the Jewish Quarter. Included breakfast was good and service very good. Friendly staff and they speak English. Fitness center could use some weights. No free internet in the room, but you can get free wi-fi if you hang out in the lobby. Internet charge is excessive. Clean rooms. Easy to get to train station and on to the airport. I would definately stay here over the hotels in the city center because you dont have to hassel with going far once you arrive. They also help with tours to The Auschwitz Museum and other attractions. Cracow is definately worth a trip and the hotel is a good buy.

Area recommendations

The city center is good for seeing old buildings and the outdoor cafe scene is nice. Good coffee shops local to Poland are there. Kasimierz (jewish quarter) is definately worthwhile. Easy to find either on foot if you like to walk or on tram. Avoid the taxis unless you speak Polish. Propaganda is a quirky bar there that is fun and filled with locals. Also the restaurants are better in Kasimierz versus the Old Town. Also for adventure, take a tram to outside the city center to see the "real" Cracow and how people live. Worth the time and you will find most people speak English or are willing to find someone who does. Take the train to the airport to and from. Easy and only 10PZLT (3.15USD). I will definately go back.

“Andels Cracow”

As central as you can get, the hotel has nice friendly staff and always willing to assist. The rooms are very modern, clean and well equiped. This is one of my prefered hotels when visting Krakow.

“Excellent hotel - great location for those on the train”

Great hotel close to the main train station. Very new and European in feel. Staff was accommodating and friendly. They arranged taxis and cars when needed and were great with directions and recommendations. I'd stay there again, but probably get a little bigger room, as the standard in pretty small and no closet space for business travel. Great for those with less luggage.

“Chic Hotel but rooms are VERY small”

Pros: Modern, clean style and design. Great location next to Old Town and also a new shopping mall w/ grocery store. Good buffet breakfast. Their car service to/from hotel is good. Also the train station is right next door. Cons: Rooms are almost claustrophobically small. Room service is bad and food is poor. Don't be fooled by the Executive Room, it is the same small size as the standard room. TV service extremely limited; in-room channel listing card out of date and channels have been removed. Not even any CNN! Parking is quite expensive. Faux fruit juices at buffet. Perhaps you need to take this in context as this is Poland, and the hotel is probably one of the better ones there. If small rooms bother you, you won't like this hotel.

“Convenient and modern”

best location, right next to the train and bus station, as well as a large shopping mall and only 5 minutes from old town square. modern and clean, could be noisy from all the people,( not from the trains and buses) but the a/c in the room drowned out any noise. staff could not have been nicer.

“Great Hotel”

We were 3 nights at the Andels and loved it. It was easy to get there from the airport and convenient to the train station, the old town and a large, modern shopping mall. The room was a good size with all the conveniences, especially electrical outlets. Buffet breakfast was good. We would recommend the hotel to anyone.

Traveler's tip

Avoid the rooms facing the square and train station if there is partying going on. We heard other travelers at breakfast couldn't sleep well.
