“Hotel Maly Krakow”

The hotel is a great place to stay and not far from the train station or the main centre. It is only 10 minutes walk to the main market square. The hotel is basic but it is very comfortable and very clean. The only minor issue would be the breakfast at a local bistro 50 yards from the hotel. Though it was adequate, there wasn't a great deal of choice.

“5 days in Krakow”

Hotel is perfect location for bars and restaurants. Large shopping centre on the door step. Staff in hotel very very helpful, however it is worth noting anything you require must be requested, i.e. towels changed daily and room cleaned - didnt realise I had to request floor in room to be cleaned and by 4th day it was quite dirty with grit from shoes. I would go back to Krakow as it is great place for a short break and I would use the Aparthotel Maly Krakow again

“Really impressed- will be going back!”

This hotel/apartment was ideal for our purposes. We wanted a clean, central, comfortable base from which to explore. We were really impressed with Maly Aparthotel - it was good value, clean and within 5 minutes walk of the main square and a large number of restaurants and bars. The reception staff were really helpful. We cannot fault our stay here at all and recommend it to all who just want a clean, reasonable base from which to explore the beautiful city of Krakow.

“Great for single sex trips ie Stag or hen doo's”

Great hotel, very good value for money, - half the price and better than the Wyspiansky I stayed in last year. Furnished by Ikea, but what the heck? Breakfast is in a room off the hotel courtyard, and again is continental basic stuff, but the cooker in the room was enough to knock some bacon and eggs up! Supplied by Carrefour at the end of the street. Gettint there: as you come out of the Arrivalls hall in Balice Airport, turn leftto to doors next to the ATM, there will be a free bus shuttle waiting that will take you to the train, you can pay on the train 6PLz when you get off, go straight through the Galleria, up one floor, and out of the opposite side, the street facing you is Kurniki street. Its on the right, through large Iron Gates, just before you get to the church. the signage is a bit small and on the top of a cream coloured building set back from the street. Good luck

“good experience”

Hotel Maly Krakow was very satisfactory, only one slight problem the central heating was very noisy especially when trying to sleep. It was a bit difficult to find but thanks to previous reviews, the instructions on how to get there were very helpful, also very close to all the places of interest. Our trip was very successful all round, straitforward flight and easy transfer by train to Krakow when leaving the airport, also very helpful reviews on how to get to Auswitch and the salt mines on our own.

“Absolutely fantastic!”

This hotel is in a great location just across the road from the main train station and literally 5 minutes walk to the old town square. The rooms have their own kitchen area, but a free buffet breakfast is provided as well. The staff are superb - both informative and very helpful. We couldn't believe that we were being charged so little for so much in a city like Krakow.

“Small, but clean, clean, friendly, and professional”

I was thoroughly impressed with this hotel. Service desk was staffed 24 hours by English-speaking and friendly staff. Room contained small kitchenette with servings of tea and coffee. Everything was clean and in great condition. Bathroom had no hairdryer, but receptionist was happy to loan one out. I will gladly stay there again.

“Excellent small hotel”

Excellent hotel rooms, obviously equipped with the latest IKEA essentials. The little kitchen area very useful. This is a small hotel with pleasant helpful english speaking receptionists available 24hrs a day. The location is perfect. for shopping excursions and the famous market square. I would highley recommend this hotel

“Great little studio for those who do not like to feel like tourists”

I had a fantastic stay at the Aparthotel Maly in Krakow. I you prefer to feel like you are living in a city, rather than becoming a mere tourist, and that you are on a budget, here is your perfect fit. The location is great: when you arrive by train, you can access the Galeria mall throught the underground corridor. If you are able to find the Benneton store, take the exit just next to it and, voila, you are just a couple of meters away from your hotel! But despite being so conveniently located, it is also very calm, for it does not face directly the street. My room had two windows, one of which was facing a nice little church. I had a nice little studio, which included a stove, a sink and a refrigerator. There is a fresh market just near by. The staff is also incredibly dedicated: they took the time to indicate me where I could find some good Polish food, or the best Italian in town. They have also helped me finding a kiosk that would sell a calling card. I also loved that they all had a friendly, and relaxed manner, though always professional. The room was only cleaned upon request, so the cleaning person would not enter without you knowing it. The breakfast was not very convincing, I must say. But I would grab some tea, and some bread, and have a delicious hot coco later in the morning. My room was very clean and the furniture was new (Ikea style).
