“Value for money”
This hotel is comfortable and offers a standard 3 star standard. The location is easy walking distance to the market square and most tours offer hotel pick up. Wi-Fi is not good and the air conditioning in our room didn't work.
“Good value”
The rooms are pretty basic, and only the minimal tidying up was done. This was ok, considering the reasonable price, convenient location, and that we only spent sleeping time in the room. breakfast buffet had ample selection. The front desk staff was very helpful, assisting us with parking, arranging very early morning transportation to the airport and even making sure we had a to go breakfast at 4 am.
“Decent Property/Great Value and Service”
Our family of 4 stayed in a 2 + 2 Studio in the Annex. The unit consisted of 2 spacious rooms well designed for our needs. The unit was fairly basic and a bit hostel-like, but it was clean and very functional. A nice breakfast was included in the stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Wireless internet was available only in the lobby area of the hotel.
“Would definitely stay here again!”
While the neighborhood seems kind of sketchy at first, it really is in a great location. Close to the train/bus station, close to the Rynek (town center), and it's just a cute, quaint little hotel. My husband and I loved their restaurant downstairs and their breakfast in the morning was a FEAST!! IT was a wonderful place and I would highly recommend this place.
“Quiet family hotel in Krakow”
Quiet, clean and convenient to the Krakow Main Square. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Price was very reasonable. No frills but comfortable. What more could you ask?
“Krakow Hotel Great Service and Location”
Great bargain, great location , clean and quiet with very friendly efficient service. The hotel complimentary breakfast was more than adequate and its restuarant and lounge served great authentic Polish cuisine and the staff provided great hospitality.
“Not bad at all”
Like most hotels in Krakow, this hotel is also old. However, it offers a good breakfast with a variety of food. The family room is spacious. The staff speaks English well. The Internet is free, get the password from the front desk. The big problem, wireless connection is only available in the "main" building (where the breakfast is served and the check-in desk is located) - too bad if your room is not in this building - you must carry your laptop to there. About 10-15 minutes walk to Krakow main square (where the cloth hall and St. Mary's Basilica are located). It is a bit difficult to find if you walk from the Krakow train station. Carrying a big luggage, I took the longer and more difficult way (with narrow and rough pavements) with the unclear Google map direction. If you wanted to walk to the hotel from the train station, when you get out from the station find the big square in front of Galeria Krakowska (the big mall adjacent to the train station). Go up a little bridge at the left end of the square and turn right afterward. Turn left on Radziwillowska street and go straight until the end of the road. After that, turn left on Kopernika street, pass under another bridge and turn right on Blich street. In about 100 meters, turn left on Kollataja street and turn right at the end of the street. The hotel is about 50 meters away from there. Total walk about 15 minutes.
“The Place to Stay”
This is a great place to stay. It is a 10 minute walk from the old town square as well as most other sites that you would want to see. For the price it was great! Very clean and very friendly staff!! I would highly recommend eating at the resturant in the hotel. Not only is it cheep but its very good. My mother in law who came to America from Poland was very inpressed and called it, "true authentic polish food". The resutrants in the old square are pretty pricy but you are paying for the atmospher not the food. When we go back we will definantly stay here!!!!
“Very convenient”
This hotel had an excellent restaurant and the breakfast buffet was very good.
“A+++”
Batory is a great hotel in Cracow. Talk about friendly and family atmosphere. I booked this hotel based on the reviews it received from my fellows Americans. It's really amazing. You can't beat free breakfast, free wi-fi, free parking little things that normally you have to pay at any hotels in Poland. Restaurants was also very good and reasonable. Even after I missed my breakfast they made sure I don't go out on town hungry. Also it's a walking distance to cite center and Wawel.
