Fabulous location!

Posted Aug 1, 2014
Pros: Everything! The staff were incredibly friendly & couldn't have done any more for us.
Location: The hotel was right in the main square so it was great for access to everything. There was a tourist information across the street.
Amazing hotel right in the main square. Despite being in the thick of things it was peaceful and there was no noise in the rooms at all. We were lucky enough to stay in the Boneroski Apartment which is one of the most fabulous suites we have ever stayed in.

Brilliant location! But style over substance......

Pros: Location, right on the main square
Cons: Everything, from comfort of the room, bathroom amenities to breakfast selection. Very very disappointing
Location: Right on the main square with a lovely, if expensive cafe attached
If looks were everything in a five star hotel this would get five star. Impressive entrance lovely decor, massive chandelier creates the ambiance. The room continues the theme, with a proper suite. Lovely fitting and powerful air con. However it quickly falls apart. The chairs look lovely but are uncomfortable, as is the bed. This looks grand but is nothing like as comfortable. It was made up lovingly but this is the only five star hotel I have stayed in which requests you asks for your room to be turned down in the evening. At least the room was very quiet. The bathroom was worse. A lovely large space but with only a shower head, with one low fixed position, over a very high bath made it difficult to shower. Also more difficult to do so without soaking the bathroom. Postage sized hard towels completed the disappointment. Breakfast? I chose the hotel after reading how fantastic the breakfast was. Mmmmm some people need to travel more and stay in more five star hotels. All was there, of course, but dry looking and covered in flies. No milk on the second day! Scrambled eggs made in front of you added to the theatre but only three hard bits of burned bacon was all the accompaniment. The staff were polite but more interested in the outside trade than the guests. Overall if you, want a good location then it is on the main square, however five star it is not, and I will not be staying there again. Krakow has many five star hotels. I believe this is the weakest. Avoid!

Best place, best location

Posted Jul 6, 2014
Pros: Location, elegance, friendly staff, great restaurant on site, attentive manager.
Cons: The room I had the first night didn't have a stand up shower...just a bath tub with a shower attachment. But the suite I had the second night did hav
Location: In the middle of everything...city is charming...reminded me of Florence. I also saw Auschwitz which is one hour by tour bus.
I recommend suite with a balcony overlooking the town square...definitely worth the money. The place is right in the middle of everything.

Beautiful hotel- corner of the main market square.

Pros: Location, staff,style. Chopin concert.
Cons: Restaurant was average. Breakfast relatively expensive. Bed very hard and bath had high sides. No drawers for clothes.
Beautifully furnished hotel in a wonderful location. We loved sitting in the lively square with a coffee or beer watching the street performers. An easy location from which to meet bus tours and right in the centre of all the places we wished to walk to.

A fantastic hotel in a great location right on the main square. Lovely rooms that have been sympathetically furnished to bring back the grandeur of the building. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Don't forget to try the cakes in the coffee bar!
