The hotel was very well situated, right in the main town square. It was only a 5-10 minute walk to the train station, eliminating the cost of getting a taxi to the hotel.
The hotel kept a lot of it's authentic features, old style walls, wooden floors and very authentic feel to the place. It did however incorporate card system access to the main entry door and all rooms inside, so you didn't need a key!
The room itself was largely spacious and the beds were decently sized (2 singles pushed together however). Room was very clean, fresh towels daily and it was lovely and warm even in the snow.
All staff were fluent in English and were helpful, the bar in the cellar was quite nice and quaint.
For a hotel, and just for a place to stay between days out/excursions and site seeing, it really was a brilliantly priced hotel for the value it offered!
