Great location but disappointing rooms. We had 2 rooms booked. One had a terrible odor. There was no one on site to help. I emailed the contact. I was told the older buildings sometimes have sewer issues. They did have another room available, so we switched to it. The 2 rooms we ended up with had no odor. Beds were not comfortable, no thermostat, no shelving in shower or bathroom to hold personal items. We had planned to stay there again after a brief side trip, but cancelled and book elsewhere.

Great place right in the middle of old town. The only minus is the property does not have an elevator. Only stairs. So if you have heavy luggage this might be an issue.

We booked an economy room which was small - as expected, but had everything needed (although more hangers would have been appreciated). One of the cleanest hotel rooms we've stayed in. Everything required was there, with generous toiletries and tea/coffee facilities, internal balcony. Fantastic location for Old City. Staff could have been a bit more forth-coming. We definitely recommend.

Had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel! Location cannot be any better, and staff was extremely helpful with adjusting our reservation due to some unforeseen circumstances. Definitely recommend to those traveling to Krakow

This hotel is located right in the midst of restaurants, bars, shops and a short distance from the central square. It gets a bit noisy around last call late at night, but we found it to be a great base to explore the city center. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast coupons given at the front desk allow you to eat at a cute restaurant a few doors down. It's a small, but nice buffet spread. The only real downside was that the beds were uncomfortable (as in, you can hear the springs creak when you sit down on the thin mattress...and we're not that large). But based on other reviews, maybe this isn't the case in all rooms. Overall, it really was a pleasant stay.

Was a nice place.Good location. Helpful staff. Our room was quite dark and needed a light on even in daytime. Quite noisy on Saturday night Sunday morning with the cellar bar. Still managed to sleep. Comfy bed and pillows.

A little gem
Really enjoyed our stay at the Camea, it is the second time we have stopped there. The hotel is only a couple of minutes from the main square, in the perfect position, we organised our taxi transfers through the hotel with the minimum of fuss, the staff were polite and very friendly. The rooms were very spacious and clean and they gave you the feeling that you were stepping back in time, the furniture was old worldly, wonderful.

Great accommodation, perfect location in the heart of Krakow. Spotless rooms which felt natural as opposed to same old tourist hotel. Friend helpful staff who know the local area to assist with transport Great breakfast, simple but filling!

Krakow - full of character
The Old Town area of Krakow is beautiful - there are 38 churches ! and many other interesting buildings, a park runs around the old town so there is a mixture of busy street life and relaxing green life. Food and drink are inexpensive so try all the local dishes and vodka varieties! There are many tours and opportunities to learn about the recent history of the city - WWII and the communist era - as well as the memorable salt mine which has a chapel, ballroom and cinema within the mine - a 20 minute train ride outside the city.

We were biking and sightseeing in Kraków. Our room was spacious, and was comfortable. stowed bikes downstairs so was perfect for us, about a 3 minute walk. what a great location!

Hotel was clean room very spacious the maid made the bed ok but never changed toilet roll / towels / coffee cups ,,, no lifts in hotel so all stone floors breakfast area was in the basement which was very dark not much to choose from but you won't go hungry ,, the basement smelt musky / damp which put me off and although the location was excellent the nightclubs / street noise was annoying

Really liked this place ad its right in krakow old town. However the diwnside us that with the windows open its very noisy. Since i visited in october i simply closed the windiws but i imagine it would be pretty loud in summer. The breakfast was barely adequate in the cellar. One morning i asked for scrambled eggs to replenish tge empty dish and was told no more. Yet 10 minutes later she cooked another dish of ut. Keep in mind i was the only one in the breakfast room! The room itself was charming abd immaculately clean on the 2nd floor.

Really Great Staff and Location, Very Good Value
I'd strongly recommend the Camea and would happily stay there again. Very helpful staff, and they repeatedly went the extra mile (kilometer??) to answer questions and otherwise assist. Perfectly situated but not noisy, excellent breakfast, room perfectly adequate though not fancy.

Reception is nice and helpful. Our room was quite nice and big. The wireless internet signal drops out frequently which is quite annoying. Breakfast is just average, a couple pastries would be nice. Good location.

Just of the main market square, so ideal position. I was there on a Thursday night and it was very quiet (I think!). Very large room, aircon (which eventually gave up and spat out ice before passing out), reasonable bed ( mattress a bit thin) and good bathroom. All you need really. breakfast a little spartan for some tastes, and space in the breakfast room a bit tight. That is the only weak spot really but considering they have squeezed the place into a tiny spot in the center of the old town. And if you are no good going up and down stairs it could be a bit of a challenge.

Some American guests had to be moved because their rooms were too noisy. The room was small and lacked basic furniture eg bench for suitcase and no desk for laptop, There is no lift to the rooms or basement breakfast room. Limited food was provided for the buffet breakfast. Worst of all was the manager who is TOTALLY unsuitable for the job. No one told me where to wait for my tour so I missed it.

We liked this hotel very much. Just a short distance to the castle in one direction and the main square in the other. The hotel was on the quiet end of a pedestrian only street and was very comfortable and charming. The staff were all very helpful. An airport pick- up was arranged, as well as our tour of the salt mines nearby.

Me and my friend stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. It was walking distance, 10 mins from the main train station right in the middle of old town with all the lovely shops and restaurants on our door step next to main square. The breakfast was basic but satisfactory, the room was quiet, spacious, moser and clean. I would stay there again.

The best location for exploring Krakow
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Camea hotel. More serviced appartments than hotel there was 24 hour assistance available from reception if I needed it. The Wifi was incredibly good and the location was absolutely perfect for exploring Krakow - an easy walk from there to Main Square, Jewish Quarter, Schindler's Factory, Museum of Contemporary Art, Wawel Castle and more. I traveled alone and found the place to be safe, secure, near enough pubs to walk for a swift half but far enough away to be relatively quiet in the night (as quiet as Krakow gets anyway).

The hotel was clean. The room was somewhat spacious. The staff was friendly. Breakfast and WiFi were complimentary. The location was great as it was two blocks from the Old Town Main Square. The cost of the hotel was very reasonable. The only downsides were that there was no elevator, there was poor lighting in the staircase, and my bed had an old mattress.

Nice Hotel in the centre of things.
Non fuss central Hotel easy walk to railway station. Krakow very beautiful lots of actitives to keep everyone happy. Auswitzt is a must Salt mines very good as well. Great restaurants all around the city every taste catered for no negatives for me.

Great price for the stay!
The hotel was very well situated, right in the main town square. It was only a 5-10 minute walk to the train station, eliminating the cost of getting a taxi to the hotel. The hotel kept a lot of it's authentic features, old style walls, wooden floors and very authentic feel to the place. It did however incorporate card system access to the main entry door and all rooms inside, so you didn't need a key! The room itself was largely spacious and the beds were decently sized (2 singles pushed together however). Room was very clean, fresh towels daily and it was lovely and warm even in the snow. All staff were fluent in English and were helpful, the bar in the cellar was quite nice and quaint. For a hotel, and just for a place to stay between days out/excursions and site seeing, it really was a brilliantly priced hotel for the value it offered!
