“I'm deff going back to this hotel”

Came back from here today and already planning my next trip (3rd) back. This hotel was quite possibly the best choice for Krakow. Its a short walk from the railway station which is only a 16min trip from the airport at 7zlt each (less than £2 each way). The hotel was warm, clean, very large room with free bottles of water, tea and coffee every day, and the most centeral location money can buy at an amazingly low price. This hotel is so much better than the Wyspanski that we stayed at in march and is directly across the roadfrom it. Central location for the main market square, castle, churches and jewish 1/4 inc Schindlers factory. Just putting up the xmas stalls as we were leaving, so gutted to have to come home from a really friendly place, with excellent value for money.

“Good price hotel in excellent location”

Stayed in Campanile Cracovie in July 2011 for 6 nights. it really is in a fantastic location, right in the old town, 7 or so minutes walk from the main Market Square but just far enough away to be quiet. Other reviewers had mentioned the cleanliness of the hotel not being good, but it seemed fine to me. There was a bar close by, but our room faced the street and was about as close to the nearest local bar as could be, and it was never noisy enough to bother asking to move rooms and the sound from other rooms was fine as well. After reading other reviews we didn't have the breakfast, so can't comment on that except that there are lots of places to eat locally. The wi-fi was a bit weak, but it did work, which for us was more of a bonus than a requirement. Overall it was a great hotel to stay in - not luxurious really but a great chain hotel - a reliable place to come back to - and the staff while not over attentive or overly friendly were efficient when asked. i would definitely stay there again if returning to Krakow.

“Brilliant”

We travelled 14/18 Jan, was very cold, but dry. We loved the Campanile for cleanliness,it was quite a modern carpeted hotel, with none of the usual mould on the bathroom tiles, absolutely spotless, tea & coffee making facilities, brilliant BIG bed, 2 bottles of water every day, television with 2 english channels, location brilliant, downside,for me,was too hot in the room, & they charged me twice for the hotel (I had already paid Expedia), but, Expedia were brilliant, they refunded me the money charged by them, & gave me a 25GBP voucher for the inconvenience. No major complaints at all, would recommend, both Expedia & the Campanile.

Great little hotel right in the Old Town, as central as it gets! we were amazed by the standard considering it's 2 stars only (I'd give it 3+), apparently because the hotel doesn't have a restaurant. Anyway, with such aray of amazing eateries around it'd be a shame to eat in the hotel.. Rooms were clean and more spacious than some 'better' hotels we stayed in. Very nice surprise, the perfect place for a short break, on a budget or not.

My friend and I stayed at the Campanile Cracovie at the beginning of November 2009 and would not hesitate in recommending it to fellow travellers. The hotel is ideally placed at the edge of the Old Town, next to the Plantry. We arrived via train from the airport and the distance to walk between the station and hotel took a little over 10 minutes. The twin room was a good size and, most importantly, spotlessly clean! We were on a non-smoking floor as requested. The daily complimentry coffee/tea/water was much appreciated. If I had one criticism it would be that the central heating was a little too hot, but this was easily solved by opening the window to let the room cool down. We booked a room only rate with Expedia which was amazingly good value for a hotel of this standard. We did not breakfast in the hotel as we found a lovely cafe in the main square called Gehanowska which opened at 8am and served hot or cold breakfast options with tea/coffee or juice from 12z (less then £3.00)!

“Unexpected ......”

Hotel was of a good, basic business standard, which in view of the price paid, was extremely good value. Hotel room was spotless, with the added bonus of two complimentary bottles of mineral water per day, on top of usual tea/coffee making facilities. Hotel was situated next to a park with easy access to all attractions, bars and restaurants.

“Perfect Krakow location”

This hotel well exceeded my expectations. Its location was superb, with close proximity to all that the Old City offers, the local suburbs and the main transport connections (Main Bus and Rail Stations). Although we did not have a B&B deal, it made little difference. On arrival, the receptionist was somewhat 'uninterested' yet highly efficient. The room had all one needed although we had to unplug the telly to put our chargers in. It would have been really good to have at least one easy chair in the very spacious room. A wonderful unexpected addition was the bottles of water that were supplied on a daily basis. I think the Hotel allowing smoking in the main foyer was 'unpleasant.' We never ate in the hotel as we were always out around town or on an excursion around dinner time: The menu looked great, though. The room we had only had a corner window, which meant it was quite dark, but that made little difference to us. What it did have in its favour was immediate proximity to the very pleasant green belt (that goes around the whole of the Old City, actually). And we could listen to the delights of the music floating from across the road from the Music College's windows. The check-out was extremely efficient. Overall, a superb stay.

“Would stay again”

For a 2* hotel this was excellent cant fault it.If we were to visit Krakow again we would stay there again. Location was good for both railway station and old town. Staff were friendly room was quite overlooking Planty.No complaints at all

Service was outstanding and the breakfast was delicious.
