The hotel is well positioned and very tidy. The room was well appointed clean and tidy. The aspect of the Grand Hotel which stood out was the polite, curteous and extremely helpful staff. The Hotel Taxi driver was excellent. This was a very pleasant stay that really exceeded my expectations

“Location, location, location”

My wife and I found the Grand Hotel excellent value for money. Its central location in the heart of the old city, close to the main square and Cloth Market, is perfect for sightseeing, restaurants and bars and within easy walking distance to other well-known landmarks and districts. The hotel is full of character and a refreshing alternative to the faceless, box-like appearance of the well-known chain hotels. The Grand's staff were exceptionally attentive and friendly and spoke excellent English; the breakfast manager during our stay was especially welcoming and worth a mention in this review. Breakfast itself was extensive, with hot food prepared to order. Our room was large, very clean and comfortable. We plan to revisit the wonderful city of Krakow in the very near future and will definitely book a room again at this pleasing hotel.

The only thing missing was tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Friendly staff, great location and excellent room made this a fantastic trip for us. The staff could not have been more helpful, first class all round.

“Beautiful example of a historical hotel”

The Grand lives up to its name in every respect from the magnificant staircase to its towering ceilings and marble bathrooms. We enjoyed our stay entirely. Its was less than a 2 minute walk from the main square in Krakow and so in walking distance from most of the tourist sites in the city. The only minor downside is that there is a nightclub across the street from the hotel. Although it was quiet for most of our holiday, the last night was a little noisy. But this really didnt effect how much we enjoyed our stay.

Great hotel in a very good location, just 5 minutes from the central square. Breakfast was a little dissapointing, room was good and clean, hotel is very well maintained. You might want to ask for a second floor room as Krakow can be a noisy city at night time.
