Krakow February 2014Posted Feb 21, 2014
Pros: Rooms well appointed and clean. We ended up in an 'apartment,' bigger than a standard room and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent.
Location: Located off one of the main routes around Krakow. On the main tram routes so movement about the city was easy. Main Square, Wawel Castle worth seeing.
Always wanted to visit Auschwitz so really glad to have made the effort. Very sobering. We also visited the Salt Mines, very impressive. The break was made all the better for the surprise that was Krakow; a beautiful city, lots to see and take in. Eating out was amazing, very cheap, we would recommend Leonardo's, tucked away in a cellar on one of the roads off the main square. The experience cost £80 for 4 of us and included drinks and two courses. Food quality excellent everywhere we went. The hotel was perfectly situated for getting around the city, 5 minutes from the main square, 10 from the castle. We caught all the football we wanted, enjoyed the bars located in the cellars but wee surprised that the smoking ban seems very different in Poland. This didn't take anything away from the experience.

3 Days in KrakowPosted Jan 10, 2014
Pros: Close to Old Town
Cons: Better description of beds in room, a double room is not consisting of double beds if they are single!
The hotel was very nice, I thought I did enough research, though I found that was incorrect. The room was nice, but the bed, a double was actually two single beds, much too small for me and too soft. In addtion, it faced the courtyard, quiet yes, but very bland.

Great standard HotelPosted Dec 9, 2013
Pros: Location is fantastic to visit all the city sights.
Location: The main square is just around the corner, lovely Christmas markets. The castle is a ten minute walk and lots of other attractions are very accessible
Great hotel in an excellent location just a few minutes stroll from the main square.

Convenient to EverythingPosted Nov 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel is in a great location within short walking distance from main train station and old town. Room with two twin beds was large, comfortable and modern. Light meals available until late evening. Overall a very good experience.

Travelled for business and was better than unexpected from Holiday Inn. Still work to be done by reception with customer service but overall very comfortable.

Holiday Inn KrakowPosted Oct 22, 2013
Pros: Clean hotel. Professional and polite staff. Good food. Good location.
Cons: They need a longer shower curtain in the tub area. Tons of water would drip onto the floor and we had to use towels to sop it up.
Location: Old town is near the hotel. Once in Old Town, you can walk to all the historic places in Krakow.
The room was clean and spacious. I have stayed in other European hotels in cramped rooms and tiny bathrooms. This was not the case. Staff was very helpful and polite. Breakfast offered a large selection of different foods and was very delicious. The hotel was not even a block from Old Town...great location. I would stay there again.

Krakow very convenient hotelPosted Oct 16, 2013
Pros: Location, staff , and room space and cleanliness.
Cons: Not a lot.
Location: City Centre, Old Town, Jewish Quarter, Wawel Castle, River, Auschwitz-Birkenhau and Salt mine easily reached.
The Holiday Inn Krakow City Centre is very convenient to the Old Town and all its attractions, cafes and restaurants. It is also easily accessible from the Station by foot or Tram ( 1 stop!). The staff are very helpful and accommodating. This is a very good choice as you can walk to all parts of Krakow easily. Th hotel itself has just been refurbished and is very quiet, but the ground floor rooms are overlooked by the restaurant patio area not a big problem unless its hot outside!
