The Alexander Hotel is very well located, a 5 minute walk from the Old Town. The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. The ventilation system is a bit weird - it goes on and off at odd times (more off than on) and, as this is tied into the bathroom extraction fan, the bathroom becomes very hot and stuffy when the ventilation is off. Despite that the hotel is excellent value for money and the breakfast buffet is very good. A great base for a Krakow city break.

Stayed at this hotel with 3 friends and we found the staff very helpful and friendly on arrival as we wanted to arrange tours as soon as possible and it was all arranged within 1 hour of our arrival. Hotel was very clean,comfortable,warm and spacious.Breakfast had everything that was needed to start your day. Would have no problem using and recommending this hotel.

The hotel is in a very good location just a five to ten minute walk from the main square. The room itself was satisfactorily but would have preferred a double bed. The bathroom was modern but the sink was awkward to use as it was small, tucked in the corner and had a glass shelf above it which was too close to the sink which meant you had to place your head under it carefully to rinse your face after shaving. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel advertises a bar and although you can see pictures of it is only used for breakfast which for someone travelling alone was disappointing. For the price I paid and excellent location I would still use this hotel again.

Excellent location for city centre. We walked from the train station and it took about 25 minutes. Superb breakfast. Friendly staff and we booked visits to Auchwitz & Salt Mines through the hotel. Great choice of restaurants within 5 minutes walk. We ate at Mamma Mia Italian 3 times as it was excellent value and nice atmosphere. Off season at 129 Zlty per night was incredible value!! Only slight fault was not free wifi for android phone in bedroom, had to go to reception (or breakfast room).
