3 nights in Eden!!Posted May 7, 2015
Pros: Wonderful location, relaxed atmosphere, helpful people.
Cons: Some of the lighting is a little low.
Location: Within Kazimierz so very close to all within the Jewish area - synagogues, restaurants, Plac Nowy, museums etc.
Arriving early at about 11.30am it was a delight to find our rooms already available. The hotel had sorted out a slight delay in pick up and we were out for lunch quickly and into our short stay. The staff were ever helpful with information and assistance. Breakfast was plentiful and even varied with some changes day to day. One of our party needed a room change and it was sorted without fuss. Safe facilities were used and reused also without any issues. When leaving we were able to safely deposit cases within the hotel for a few hours before making our way to the airport.

Friendly hotel situated in Jewish quarterPosted Apr 3, 2015
Pros: Cleanliness, size of rooms, good breakfast and location. Friendly, helpful staff.
Cons: Tea and coffee facilities in the rooms would be appreciated - although a MINOR point as there is tea and coffee in the lobby.
Location: Excellent location - 20 minutes' walk from Market Square and 15 minutes' walk from Wawel Castle with loads of bars, cafes and restaurants on door step
Spent 4 days in Krakow with my 2 sons and 1 of their girlfriends. We all had a great time. The Eden hotel is a friendly, traditional hotel situated right in the middle of the Jewish quarter within walking distance of excellent cafes, bars and restaurants. Our rooms were large, bright and spotlessly clean with comfortable beds. We had asked for quiet rooms at the back of the hotel which we were given and apart from the odd passing reveller returning from a night out, we all slept soundly. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet ample and varied and set us up for the day ahead. The hotel is approximately 15 minutes' walk from Wawel castle and 20 minutes' walk from the Market Square; 2 minutes' walk from tram lines - number 3 directly to the Galeria Krakowska and connecting bus (304) to the Salt mines. The hotel organised our trip to Auschwitz and we were collected at the door. This was the only disappointing point of the trip and was NOT the hotel's fault. Our guide at Auschwitz and Birkenau "power walked" the group around the 2 sites giving us little time to reflect and think about the plight of the poor unfortunate people who once lived here. When we complained she simply said she had a time schedule to keep although the tour of Birkenau only last 40 minutes when we had been allocated 1 hour. Matthew (or Polish equivalent), our guide at the Salt mines was ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT and gave us as much time as we needed to look around. Loved it!

Return visitPosted Jan 26, 2015
Pros: Location: Staff: Cozyness.
Cons: Larger showers. Better internet service. A couple of English TV Stations.
Location: Get a copy of "Krakow in your Pocket", at the Reception & go enjoy this wonderful city.
I often make time for a visit in Krakow & the surrounding area when I am in Poland on business. I try to stay at the Eden as it's location is excellent & the staff are always helpful & responsive to my requirements. The small "faults" of showers that could be larger & internet access that is "wonky" at times, are quickly overlooked as thee overall charm of the Eden makes it all worth while. You will meet very nice guests from around the world.

Hyvä hinta-laatusuhdePosted Jan 13, 2015 on Hotels.com
Hyvä hinta-laatusuhde. Hiukan kulunut hotelli, jossa kuitenkin kaikki tarpeellinen. Huone ja kalusteet hieman nuhjuisia, mutta tilaa reilusti. Perusaamiainen kuuluu hintaan. Hyvä sijainti, jos on kiinnostunut Kasimierzin ravintola- ym. tarjonnasta.

Nice hotel in Kazimerez. Delicious breakfasts every morning. Staff very helpful with information on tours, local area, cabs, etc. Wifi was weak in my room but staff asked about this to get it fixed - offered me a different room. Would stay here again.
