At least 25 mins from town square. Rough areaPosted Nov 16, 2013
Hotel staff lovely. Breakfast was awful. 25 mins from town centre with homeless people and beggars on the back roads (only way to town square) me and my partner were on edge walking to and from the hotel.

1st visit to krakow,Posted Oct 24, 2013
Pros: The staff were friendly, polite and helpfull all the time. Rooms clean and roomy, get the deluxe room. well worth the few extra pounds we paid.
Cons: Nothing really as the staff told me the hotel rooms were getting renovated over the winter so they will have a new look for nexy year.
Location: The hotel was about 15 Minutes walk from the centre. It was easy to find and the square has so many places to eat and visit you are spoiled for choice
The hotel was within walking distance to the main square which we could do in 15 minutes. We took in plenty of the sites to see and do. The electric golf carts are good to get a feel for the town and surrounding area's. The castle is a must to visit. We hired a taxi to take us on the Auswitz / Birkenau tour and going alone meant that we could absorb the visit at our own pace and not at the pace of the tour guides. This way we went into all the buildings that were open and not just the ones the tour guides wanted you to see.we had the driver all day and he was happy to wait while we enjoyed both visits to the sites. They are something to see and not to be missed. We will never forget what we saw and what these people had to endure. Being able to go at our own pace meant you took more in and had time to take photgraphs. Go before 10am and there is no entrance fee. Shindlers factory was worth a visit and is free on a monday am. another visit worth going to visit. All in all we got value for money and found to eat out was not dear. The whole visit was great and we will be going back next year because we enjoyed it so much.

Liv'Inn Aparthotel-KrakowPosted Oct 18, 2013
Pros: The friendly atmosphere and cleanliness.
Cons: They were furbishing the residents bar, when we were there, so was not in use. Will be ready soon, which will be nice for a drink in the hotel .
Location: Shops and markets nearby. Pleanty of pastry shope nearby with fresh bread/pastries.
The Hotel was very clean and all facilities in good working order. The staff were friendly and helpful and booked all trips/excursions from reception, we were collected and dropped off at the Hotel , which was very convenient. The breakfast was well catered for, cereals, cold meats, fruit and cooked food as well, it really set you up for the day ahead. The main square was probably a 20 min walk, there was a good out door market just a couple of streets away. Not just a very good variety of eating places nearby, you had to walk probably 10-15 mins in the evening for a restaurant/cafe , as most places closed in the afternoon or early evening. Plenty of shops/supermarkets nearby though for any groceries required.

clean and close to the cityPosted Sep 23, 2013
Pros: Clean all over - helpful staff - spacious room
Location: The location is not bad. Trams and buses are easily available from Novy Kleparz to get to the centre which is less then 5 minutes walk from the hotel.
We like walking so this hotel was ideal for us. About 20 minutes walk to the square and trams and buses are available to get there if you do not fancy walking. Even though our room was facing the main road, the noise level was very low and the room was spacious. The breakfast was very nice. I would recommend this hotel to friends. Next time I visit Krakow I will stay here.

Nice staff and good sized airy roomsPosted Jul 21, 2013
Pros: Large rooms Staff Breakfast Price Hotel stored our suite cases when we traveled out of town between stays.
Cons: Street noise when windows are open Mop floors instead of just sweeping Closer to city center
Location: -Of Kantors I checked, those along Dluga ul. near the city center had the best exchange rate -Price in Sukiennice are good, Galeria Mall expensive
My daughter and I really enjoyed this hotel and will definitely consider returning. Pros: - The rooms were reasonably large with an airy feeling, room to spread out, table, couch. Just felt comfortable. - Good windows that opened 2 ways - Comfortable bathrooms - Very friendly staff helpful with directions and suggestions - Generous breakfast bar including eggs, sausage, cheeses etc. - The 292 bus from the airport takes 40 mintues to Nowy Kleparz, which is only a block and half away from the hotel. - 10-15 minute walk from town center (Sukiennice) or intercity train and bus depot or take the 18 tram to Wawel or the old Jewish town. - Good access to local stores for groceries, etc. - Hotel will do your laundry - Late at night you hear the clip clop of horses going home from the Main Market Square - We slept well Cons: - Off a main street so get some traffic noise when windows are open - Floors a bit dirty - need moping instead of just sweeping - likely due to being near a main street - No A/C. Each room has a good fan and opening the windows was usually enough, especially at night, but no A/C if it gets really hot. - Laundry service in rainy weather can take a couple days to line dry a large load. - Single beds are narrow - same in all other hotels we looked in - seems to be a Poland standard. - Almost missed the entrance.

Convenient, comfortable locationPosted May 30, 2013
Pros: The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. They were genuinely pleased that our stay had gone well.
Location: We were ideally located for bus services - the bus for Auschwitz passed the bottom of the road - and tram services to most of Krakow
Aparthotel Liv'Inn was ideal for our needs. We were out all day and just needed a base that was within walking distance of the centre of Krakow. It was far enough from the centre - 20mins walking - to be quiet enough, in our room, at night. Walking back at night felt very safe. The bus from the airport - the 292 - stopped only a couple of streets away which kept our transfer costs well down. The staff themselves were very helpful and were able to access any information regarding touring that we asked for. Breakfast in the morning was adequate and everything was spotlessly clean.

Great hotel! Great price!Posted Feb 27, 2013
The hotel was great. We have stayed for 4 nights. Room was big and clean. Bathroom nice and clean with a shower. Location is great as its only 15 minutes walk from the main square. Reception was very helpful at all times. They can book trips for you without any problems. Breakfast was nice as well. Overall for the price they charge it could not be better.

Lovely stayPosted Oct 3, 2012
Me & my boyfriend stayed here for 3 nights last week and really enjoyed our stay. The room was big with a wardrobe, chest of drawers and a decent sized bathroom. Drink facilities were right outside the bedroom door. The hotel was clean, the staff helpful with breakfast being brought to your room at whatever time you request it. It was about a 10 min walk from the main square and to the bus/train station, so pretty good location. All in all would recommend.

No SleepPosted Oct 3, 2012
Pros: Nice staff
Location: Not too bad
The greatest complaint I have is with how much noise is heard from the halls. The hall floors are very old wooden floors. The boards squeak and creak VERY LOUDLY! Now add to that the fact that the doors seal very poorly and you can hear the conversations in the hallway like crazy. Forget having a good night's sleep if you have loud neighbors who like to come in late, talking very loudly, as I did. The place was clean and is in walking distance of the Central Train Station if you don't mind a little hike. The staff was great and they appear to be making an effort to upgrade, but they are not there just yet...
