“Great Place to stay with Kids (as they stay for free)”

We loved our time at the Novotel. The hotel was very friendly and helpful. Our kids loved the pool. The tram line stops out front of the hotel and with Krakows easy public transport (also quite inexpensive...check out the 1 or 2 or 3 day passes). We had our room together with the buffet breakfast and we enjoyed that a great deal. There is something for everyone for the breakfast buffet. Since our kids like different kids of breakfasts there was something for both of them. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Krakow!

“Krakow Stay with Kids!!!”

It was an excellent hotel for us to stay in. Everything was nearby and the staff was very accommodating. City of Krakow had some construction on the tram line passing in front of the hotel but that certainly was out of the influence of the hotel or staff. The rooms were clean and room. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the pool was a HUGE hit with our kids. Would certainly go back to this hotel again!

“Comfort in Krakow”

Excellent staff, knowledgeable and friendly. The room was spacious and comfortable. Bar (and restaurant) too expensive and we actually had a meal in the restaurant of Ibis, the connected hotel behind the Novotel that was decent and didn't cost $50. Very convenient to walk into the Old Town. There is a very interesting restaurant across the street that should at least be walked through!

Area recommendations

The downtown area of Krakow is nicely contained and easy to walk around. Wander out of the main old town to the Jewish quarter and the stroll around the park that surrounds the old town. Castle views of the city and river are lovely. You'll have plenty to see and do.
