Kuala Besut is located approximately 190 miles (306 kilometers) from Kuala Lumpur, the country's capital.
You don't have to limit yourself to the attractions of Kuala Besut because the entire region has been graced with plenty of wonderful cities, attractions and landscapes. Gemia Island, 19 miles (31 kilometers) to the northwest, and Bachok, 19 miles (31 kilometers) to the southeast of Kuala Besut are also worth checking out.
Around 30 miles (48 kilometers) to the northwest of Kuala Besut is Kota Bharu, a regional center and the home of State Museum, Sultan Mohammad IV Stadium and Siti Khadijah Central Market.
