Clean and cosy at a cheap price!

Posted Jun 29, 2014
Pros: Clean. Smoke-free. Cheap.
Cons: Paint job in room walls can be touched up. Shower head holder could be replaced - it was not stable and the shower head tends to drop while showering.
Location: Large variety of local street food right at the doorstep of the hotel. Durian stalls as well. Bars and pubs in the neighbouring street. Subway station
Room is very small with little walking space, with a comfortable queen-sized bed, small wooden study table and stool, toilet/bathroom. Clean although small portions of the wall have slight paint discolouration. Hotel has a strict non-smoking rule and the staff are firm in enforcing it in every area of the hotel premises. Pleasantly surprised at their policy - especially suitable for people like me who like fresh air. Room bathroom/toilet is very small. Think of a medium sized toilet cubicle with a shower head on one side of the wall. Only one person can use the toilet/bathroom at a time. Towels and room tidying service is decent. New bottles of mineral water offered every day. I left a tip and it was not taken. A good location to live in if you like a huge variety of good food joints, pubs/bars, durian stalls, etc within walking distance. Subway train service is within walking distance. Do not choose this if you like large room premises, or cannot stand a cramped toilet. Choose this if you want value-for-money, clean, smoke-free, centralised location.

Locate center at Jalan Alor

Posted Jun 27, 2014 on Hotels.com
The room not comfortabl, clean and no maintenance but important it is located center at Jalan Alor, near Sungei Wang, Lowyat, Times Square, walking distance to Lot 10, Fahrenheit, Pavilion. You won't get hungry because there are a lot of restaurant and food stall here. Also lot of pubs near the hotel.

Very bad location, small rooms and washrooms.

Very bad experience, We felt like we are living in a jail where there were no facilities except a very small room having only bed. Very small washroom and very poor water supply.

Not bad

Posted May 14, 2014
Strategic location, many foods around jalan Alor, nice lampions. We only stay for 4 nights but time spent mostly out of the hotel. The room too small, no cup board for the smallest room. The rate competitive. Not bad for sleep only.

Great location but too noisy surrounding

Posted May 13, 2014 on Hotels.com
The location of this hotel is very convenient near to shopping malls and Petronas tower. But the surrounding outside is very noisy like everyday there's a fiesta, so many tourists eating outside the streets with local bands playing music to them which made it hard for us to sleep well. But the owner of this hotel Liza was very nice and accommodating to us. Since the family room was very small for three persons, they transferred us to a family deluxe room which had a bigger space and a spacious bathroom for a minimal additional fee. The room was clean but has no bathroom necessities, no cups and saucers, spoons and no hot water inside the room. You have to go down for hot water. But even though, what's amazing was a lot of tourists come in and out of this hotel daily. You really get it for what it's worth. Nice experience here meeting new fiends like Ma'am Liza, the driver Sulayman, and especially the tour guide Gary.

Great Location

Posted Jan 1, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel is situated at a very good location, at Jalan Alor where all the good food are. However, the hotel room we stayed in 66 was really small. There is only a small pathway to walk around the room hardly even able to put our luaggage bags. The lady at the front desk was not very friendly either. She could put on a smile more...

Hotel in an over crowded and rowdy part of town.

Posted Nov 7, 2013
Pros: The room rate
Cons: Approach and external appearance of the hotel is very dissappointing.
Location: The location is over crowded and rowdy, and does not look decent at all.
Hotel is located in a very crowded and rowdy environment. Very dissappointed with the approach to the hotel and external appearance of the hotel, though the interior looked neat.
