centrally located within the shopping belt

Generally the experience is good and welcoming. We booked 2 premier rooms. The rooms were cleaned, modern and spacious with comfortable mattress and pillows. Room amenities were good. Only downside is one of the rooms toilet sanitation is poor. This is probably due to the sanitary piping. But the other room is fine. The staff were very helpful, and we especially like to mention a staff who has kindly help us with our luggages whilst reaching for our coach transport on the last day of our stay. Overall, its a good experience and we would strongly recommend this hotel.

Right in KL's shopping area

The Berjaya Times Square Hotel is situated right in the middle of KL's shopping district. Adjacent to the Imbi monorail station. Rooms are not so big but adequately sized and comfortable.

Superb Experience

Posted Jun 26, 2014
Pros: Hospitality, Superb Staff, Huge Rooms, Location, Shopping, Theme park for children, Great Connectivity through Monorail, Excellent Swimming Pool
Cons: Better variety of Indian Meals
Location: The mall itself is a great location by itself. 15 floors of shopping, a theme park, mono-rail station just outside the hotel, excellent connectivity.
This was our 2nd vacation to Kuala Lumpur and as in last time, we stayed at Berjaya Times Square. We have stayed at top notch properties – Ritz Carlton Singapore, JW Marriot Phuket, RASA Sentosa Singapore, Atlantis Dubai, Radisson Mauritius, Holiday Inn Hong Kong but the hospitality and care that we got during our stay at Berjaya Times Square remains unparalleled and was of the highest calibre. We stayed here in 2 rooms for 7 nights in West Tower on 25th Floor. The breakfast at Big Apple Restaurant was always excellent (despite waiting patiently with a dozen other people on the Egg Counter) and it was great to see the restaurant team rushing around trying to do their best to accommodate everyone comfortably. One incident that would always remain etched in our memories was when in one of the rooms the AC was not working properly. Even though the maintenance team was prompt and attended to the faults, however, the problem could not be diagnosed and rectified. As a result, we did not have a couple of good nights in one of the rooms. To make up, the hotel management, for the last day of our stay upgraded us to the picturesque penthouse 3 Bedroom suite on its 43rd Floor, arranged a special dinner for our family and did not even charge for our breakfast for our entire stay. The monetary aspect aside, it was their gesture of reaching out to us, which really touched our hearts. Thanks a ton!, Mario D Hayden, Ismail Ramli and Ms Patricia for making us feel so special.

Spacious hotel room

Posted Jun 24, 2014
Pros: Spacious room.
Cons: Sofa could be more firm. Housekeeping could be better.
Location: Street food at Jalan Alor (tourist price), hotel located in shopping mall is very accessible especially for ladies and families. IT mall & pubs too.
Overall stay cation was good. High floor and prior requests made were fulfilled. However, service could be better. Bathrobe were not given on first day and did not change for the 2nd day. Housekeeping could be better. The hotel room is very spacious, would love to stay there again with friends or love ones. Hotel view is good too.
