“Very pleasant”

We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of our hotel. We were expecting a 2 star, but would have given it at least 3. The rooms were spacious and clean, and very comfortable. Wouldn't hesitate to book at Citin again.

“Clean, excellent location, fabulous staff, slightly rough edges”

I was looking for something better than a ultra-budget hotel, but didn't want to spend the money for anything fancy. Citin was a perfect choice. It was clean and the staff was extremely friendly and quite helpful. The location is great too, as it's located close to the Masjid Jamek light rail station and Chinatown and Petaling St are both an easy walk away. The breakfast offerings were solid - nothing exciting, but also nothing to complain about. Some people may be put off by a slightly rough exterior. Sure, there are fixtures that have seen a few too many seasons, some minor paint fixes, and a few other things. But for me, these were all cosmetic issues not worth worrying about. If they spent the money to fix every little thing that needed a little help, then the price would go up and I probably wouldn't stay there. And don't get me wrong - it's not run down, it's just a bit rough around the edges. One other item of note: when I booked it, I was under the impression that there was high speed internet access in each room. There is not. A couple computers are wired and ready to use in the cafe (when it's open) and there is wi-fi on the first couple floors. Otherwise, there's an internet "cafe" ("attic") down the street, and many other places around town from which you can surf. Overall, I felt like I got exactly what I was looking for at the price I wanted to pay. KL is a great city and I plan to stay at Citin when I return. Cheers!

“Good Value”

The staff was friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was tasty. The rooms were small but the location was great near central and China Town. We were easliy able to bus and walk to our destonations. The Batu caves were great The bird park too much money. China Town was great fun in the evening. In summary great bang for the investment. Very friendly helpful staff. Thank you for providing this hotel

“Cramped but decent with good breakfast buffet!”

I had read other reviews of the property, so I was prepared for my experience. I was pleasantly surprised by the lack of street noise in my room, since the hotel is directly across the street from the Puduraya bus terminal--but then, my room was in the back corner of the hotel. Rooms are very small, but otherwise good. The breakfast buffet was excellent in both quality and variety of offerings.

“Value for money budget hotel in a convenient location”

Room was quiet, clean and comfortably furnished. Bathroom was large, towels etc replaced daily. Only downside was no fan and no aircon. Good breakfast buffet. Just across the road from the Pudraya bus terminal but a bit of a walk to the train if you are carrying a suitcase. Pleanty of eating places nearby and the city park is ony a 5 minute walk.

“Good allround affordable hotel !”

We were happy with the condition of the room ( alittle on the small side), breakfast was well catered for, room service was enjoyable and well priced (shame it closed by 7pm) hotel staff were very helpful. wifi in rooms was to low but could be accessed in the lobby. alround clean and affordable accomodation.

“I was surprised becuse they couldn't afford a simple request of mine”

It was overally good quality hotel. However, I was dissatisfied when I asked them to write me any kind of statement or a bill to include my and my wife's name and they refused to do so. Me and my wife spent our holiday in that hotel and I needed a receipt for that but they said I have to get that from the agent in New Zealand. I told them that we are your clients at the moment and you seem to be entitled enough to issue such a receipt but simply they said that they are not able to do so! May I please ask such a receipt that include my and my wife's name from your good office? Many Thanks

“OK for O'nite Stay”

A basic tourist class hotel, but certainly adequate. For Aussies, think Unilodge standard. Rooms are smallish, just fits in a Queen size bed, TV, small but OK bathroom, central air con. Good coffee shop with free but slow Internet. About 10 mins walk to Bukit Bintang night market, shopping, bars, area. $10 Ringgit from KL Sentral bus station if buy pre paid ticket at Bus Station, but couldn't bargain below $15 MR from hotel to Bus Station.

“Good budget hotel”

Its a budget motel, but the room was clean and the staff were more than friendly We told the front desk that we would need a wake up call at 4:30 so that we could catch an early flight. When they heard this they arranged a free boxed breakfast for us. The hotel was within walking distance of China Town which is in need of a make over, and Bin Tang Walk. I've stayed at the Citin twice now and would not hesitate to stay again.
