“D'Oriental hotel in Kuala Lumpur is a very nice place!!”
Our clients have been in this hotel and they very pleased with service and comfort of the hotel D ' Oriental in Kuala Lumpur.
“Couldn't ask for a better place, a must to stay in.”
A great place for its location. The service was impeccable, with very good service and helpful staff. Don't need to say anymore. Definitely will be back here to stay.
“Much better than expected”
When I initially booked my stay at D'Oriental, I booked in for just 2 nights, with the intention of moving to another hotel afterwards. As I was a little concerned because it was soo much cheaper than other hotels on Expedia, and one of the reviews for it wasn't very good. However I ended up extending my stay with them for another week (my entire stay in KL) because I was impressed with the hotel. The room was basic, but clean, tidy and comfortable. The service was excellent, particularly the chef who got used to me being late for breakfast each day, and so wouldn't start cleaning up until I had had breakfast. One day I was soo late down that she had packed up, but she cooked me up a fresh meal anyway. The location is awesome aswell, it fully immerses you in the atmosphere of chinatown right from your first step out the door. This for me was a really big bonus, admittedly after a week I was a bit tired of the street vendors, but for a short stay it really gets you into the atmosphere and gives the feel of being away on holiday, whereas in a hotel elsewhere, it'd just feel like being in a hotel in any city in the world. Also it's very close to the bus station for travelling to other cities etc, and likewise very close to the monorail for if you want to travel within the city. Bars are closeby too and there are restaurants everywhere!! I'll definitely be returning to D'Oriental when I come back through KL on my return home, and will likewise recommend it to others.
“Very Good Accommodation”
During my stay at the D'Oriental Inn I encounted a few problems Like I lost my Wallet the Hotel staff were excelent and very helpfull in my being able to find the wallet I could not expect better service and help in my stay at the D'Oriental Inn and I would like to recomend the hotel to others it is convient and very clean and good Breakfasts All inall a very good stay in Malaysia at an excelent Hotel
“Aussie Traveller”
The D'Oriental is an excellent hotel for travellers staying for a short period and want the convenience of a comforatable hotel with airconditioning (that's a bit plus). The rooms are kept very clean and the hotel appearance is very nice compared to the other hotels in the area and is cheap. The staff were friendly and helpful. I found the check in to be painless and it's very convenient if you enjoy staying in Chinatown as the local food is excellent, there are lots of nearby shops, UO shopping centre, cheap internet cafes (have to search for them) and is only a short walk to the pasar monorail station. A cheap ticket to sentral or KLCC. Due to the hotel located right in the middle of Petaling St, it is worthwhile mentioning that the road will be closed from 2pm and if you are travelling with a lot of luggage it will be difficult to move around once the night market stalls are all assembled (around 5-6pm when the centre lane of the street is set up). I would reckon D'Oriental to any traveller who wants a short stay as you will be enjoying the sites or shopping in KL and just enjoy a simple and clean room.
“Hotel in the Chinatown Precinct”
This Hotel, is slap bang in the China Town district of KL. The hotel is a little hard to discover, due to the fact that street markets are right at the front door, which hide the entrance. If your arrive by Taxi, ask to go to the China Town street markets..... the taxi driver wont be able to drop you off at the front door, but all you need to do is walk slowly through the markets until you find the small entrance to the hotel. The room was in good condition & free Wi-fi was made available. Should you need to print any documents (Ie Maps or Airline check-in confirmations) the hotel staff are only too happy to print them out for you if you send them to the reservations email address of the hotel (which the staff will give you.) Well worth booking for 2 to 3 nights in order to get a real feel for the buzzing culture right of KL right on the hotels doorstep.
“Very happy”
The location was great and the staff were very nice
“Best time ever”
Best Hotel location for the shopper, excellent staff, no problem to big, had the best time, all I hoped for from Expedia. Would recommend it to anyone for the price and location, stayed the best 5 days of the 3 week trip
“Better if room has windows, but location very good”
The hotel services were very good and also the room for breakfast. They should have unsalted butter to put on toasts. The internet is a little too expensive : 5 ringits for minimum 1 hour. I like to have there a small desk where you can buy tours : the tour of the Kuala Lumpur City is very interesting,at theprice of 70 ringits.
“It's ok for the price.”
We were happy with the hotel, bcs very cheap, clean and well located, small rooms but we were out all day, we just came to rest and take a shower..
